From what I've understood, that we have a single coming before September is over and an album before the year is over, but that nothing is going to happen immediately. And that either August or September is going to be an exciting month.

Well yeah I mean, nothing is going to be confirmed totally until Green Day say it. But we are running by info that the bands management have at the moment, which can for sure change, but is being given to us in a vague enough way so that even if it changes we will, for example, still have a single by the end of September even if the current frame they expect is second week of August and then it changes to second week of September.
