Are they at an event or concert, and why is Billie holding a score for that Clarinet, Violin and Piano Trio by Khachaturian?? Are they putting classical instruments on the new album???

 

EDIT: When I first glanced at the picture I almost screamed because I thought Billie Joe was holding the new album!!!

It's changed. The world standard is now Fridays as of last summer.

What? I think they aren't neutral and they are direct. They speak directly for or against on social issues on all their albums, from Road to Acceptance to 99 Revolutions. I want them to do it well and not badly, but it is what they do!

I don't think they've ever been neutral, neither indirect. Sure, in many songs there could be room for interpretation, and probably that's why they're able to catch the appreciation of people with different values and ideas, but I think that paying even the slightest attention to their lyrics it's possible to understand their messages. I don't think 99 Revolutions is a worse song than American Idiot (or 21st Century Breakdown, or American Eulogy, or Walking Contradiction, or Road to acceptance) because it's more direct. It's just a worse song. I mean, if the find a beautiful way, artistically speaking, to sing about gun control, or anything else, I will appreciate it.
