Btw, is the imagery he uses specifically Catholic or is it used by other, protestant churches as well? What comeback never left he used it on the trilogy shows (well he did for the SXSW show)

He doesn't give a shit about what people think he 'should' have. That's punk. & he should wear a grandpa cardigan & play his sparkley guitar?
Maddie86 Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 7 hours ago, Steven Seagull said: No one should have to wait a whole month to get his guitar painted. guitar paint takes time. The paint needs time to cure and become a strong finish. I painted a bass of mine a year ago and only waited a week before putting it together and playing a show. the paint had a ton of scratch marks in it after the show and i could still make marks in it with my fingernail, so I learned the hard way, it's a lot of work, especially if you want to do it right.

He simply said that because he needed to have it done by the end of June, people assumed that the would be touring in July and that he doesn't know when they are touring. So what we can conclude is that Billie is using a really cool looking guitar and they will be touring. Date - TBD it's all part of the grand plan - they know exactly what they are posting☺️
localinsomniac Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 Just as likely is the idea that they underestimated how good some of you guys are at the Internet.

ElmoGreenDay Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 I think they do it on purpose. I think they want us to anticipate the album. They're getting enjoyment from all the clues and us going crazy over the tiniest of hints.

Comment from here. "I deleted the post because a lot of fans jumped to the conclusion, since I was going to try and finish it at the end of June that Green Day would be going on tour in July. I don't know when they will be touring, the fans love their Green Day and social media can spread like wildfire, I just wanted to end that rumor before it got out of hand." Lol. People need to calm down.
DannyDirnt Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 Prepare to go crazy, everyone! Just remember what they did to us with the trilogy, all those studio snippets

sara_gd Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 He did say he had to get it ready to go on tour, though. That didn't mean that immediately after his delivery at the end of June it would go on tour, especially because of rehearsals, but it is significant that Billie Joe wants to have the guitar in July. What I try to say is that he didn't just say he had had to get it ready for the end of June, he mentioned the tour, even though he doesn't know when it is happening.
Wouter1994 Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 maby he needs that guitar for pictures, rehearsals, Tv performance of a single
localinsomniac Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 Might be a little early in the cycle, but I guess a music video is a possibility. Hey remember music videos?
GenXIdiot Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 There'll be a video,, music videos are still huge, on Youtube.
Hermione Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 I'd say music videos are bigger than they've been for years right now! Pop and rap artists in particular are making some of the most ambitious and impressive music videos ever now that they have the freedom of putting them out for an online audience rather than being restricted by having to tailor their content and length for TV. Not many rock acts are keeping up, but I hope Green Day make sure their music videos are on point with this next album.

It would be nice having a cool, contemporary and chill looking video with cool color lights, like the videos for Work (Rihanna) and Sorry (Justin Bieber).

I still can't believe how awesome 21CB video was though...

Some of their best videos portray their sense of humor, even if it's subtle in the video. 21CB was great, really I like all their videos, except Oh Love. Oh Love was horrible. 1 hour ago, a123 said: Green Day's video's have always been on point....except for Oh Love which I hate. This.
