I am starting to think Green Day at Riot fest is actually a possibility. @sara_gd mentioned it in another thread. The crowd at riot fest has been pushing to get Green Day for years now and they have never been. Green Day is rumored to start touring in September but "it's not entirely accurate" maybe riot fest is sort of the unofficial start to their tour.

 

We already know of a couple festivals in which Green Day will not be attending but riot fest has not been ruled out. The original Misfits will be there and I think that is something the band would enjoy to see. On the Riot Fest website it says that the full lineup will be available in a few days. Other news articles stated that the lineup is speculated to come out on the 18th.
