localinsomniac Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Eh, not all Green Day fans are the same. Wasn't there one girl here who bragged about showing up at Billie Joe's home? Those are the ones who need to be "dealt with".

I like those.

Maddie86 Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 The Ramones 12th studio album was Mondo Bizzaro, and while it has some great songs (Poison Heart is one of my fav Ramones songs), it was overall a pretty meh album. also, it came out after 3 bad ramones albums in a row. hmm.

Fuzz Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 I just want to make sure you guys know that this is because of you. It makes me happy to see Green Day trending on Facebook.
Ritz Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 See, GDC is still capable of these things, now that Green Day is back in the works.
BucksCoEric Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 i remember when they were trending worldwide on twitter during their reading 2013 performance i was so happy

Poison Heart is one of my favorite songs ever! That song is powerful. I cry when listening to it.... I hope Green Day's album 12 has something with that kind of emotion on it.

I'd be willing to put my music and music theory knowledge up against you any day of the fucking week. Nimrod marked a definite shift for them in terms of what they were doing musically. I appreciate what they did because it led to Warning (which is their biggest musical shift) as well as AI and 21St CB. I can appreciate Nimrod for paving the path to their future, I just don't like the album. I've been learning music theory since I was four years old, so go ahead and try, old man. Also nice job switching your story from "Nimrod sucks" to "Nimrod is okay but I just don't like it."
Jack [DF] Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 I think Revolution Radio would be a dope title actually.

I never said Nimrod was OK. I said I can appreciate it for what it did for the evolution of their sound. All that said, it's my least favorite album of theirs.
jengd Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Can we now expect a Prince tribute or inspired track?

I think if there was to be a tribute it would be so subtle that it would just be a subject of speculation
localinsomniac Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 It's doubtful, yeah. But then again, how many people expected a tribute to Amy Winehouse?

I want it to be the title just because that would make me the person who figured out what #revrad means and posted it on gdc, which is worth at least a Nobel prize or something.
localinsomniac Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 If it does in fact mean "Revolution Radio", it could very well mean we're waiting on another loose concept-type record. More 21CB than AI in terms of coherence in any story. I don't know why, those words just stir up some vague imagery in my head.
The Disappearing Boy Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 It's Revolting Radiators, I'm telling you.
Wouter1994 Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 maby we got a rerecording of 99 revs on it, like they did with Welcome To Paradise.
