I just bought this. Shipping to Spain was $8 which is really decent :)

I got this back in December and I really liked it, if you're a fan of lookout records then definitely pick up a copy! and grab a copy of Larry's other book too, there's some good stuff in there about Tre Cool and The Lookouts. There's also a book that's an oral history of Lookout records. Larry didn't write that one and a lot of people didn't like it but I thought it was really good

I got this a few days ago and so far I'm having a really hard time putting it down.  It is a very easy read and Larry is very good at telling stories.  So, very little work getting done today, thanks Larry.

I finally finished Larry's book.  I really enjoyed it.  He has had some interesting and amazing life experiences and is capable of telling the story in an amusing fashion.  I find his writing style to be very believable and almost humble in some aspects.  He is perfectly capable of pointing out his mistakes and his own personal triumphs and even where he isn't sure what happened.

I also liked that he did not turn this into the "I discovered Green Day" book.  He easily could have done that, and it would have been his right to do that, but he really focused on the story of Lookout records.  Green Day had to be in the book because they are a vital piece of the Lookout story, but they were most definitely not the focal point.

The book is a great look at the success and ultimate failure of an indie record label.  I highly recommend it.

I liked it so much that I just ordered Larry's first book.

Larry you can thank me now for the additional book sales you will get from my inspired, but short, review.

Just finished reading this today and really enjoyed the whole thing. The last few pages were really moving (emotionally) for me. The snippet about Billie handing Larry a framed photo of Joey hit me in all of the feels because it made me think of my nephew who will be two in April.

Great read, Larry. Looking forward to the book tour in a few weeks.
