Panda Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 A festival also Weezer plays at would be the onliest festival about 3 days my parents would let me go to, to see this band would offset their worry about me in the big crowd Why so far away?

DarcyJ76 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 I don't understand the thing that says you aren't allowed reentry from the outside world. Does this mean I can't spend the night in a swanky hotel and then go back into the festival? I am being forced to...camp? In the out of doors? In August? With dirt and bugs and lots of people? I would like to show up when GD performs, perhaps mill around and look at other people camping and meet you guys, and then, you know, go back to my air conditioned room and shower. Is that not how this works? I've never done a music festival of any kind.
Laura! Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 i think we're gonna camp offsite! the onsite camping is shitty and once we're there we won't be allowed to leave at all and alissa and i decided we don't really like that. there's other campgrounds nearby for like, 30 bucks a night so i think that's our best bet! This is a really good idea. If I end up coming, I may have to join you guys!
DarcyJ76 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 So they have this Headliner Pass for 6 people - it doesn't list the cost, so I'm assuming, even split among 6 people, it is over $1,000 each. Would anyone be interested in getting a group of 6 of us to do that? Obviously, pending the actual price.

We're all very broke 20-somethings, there's no way we could ever afford that I'd be very intrigued to know who could haha.

For that money it better come with Blond Billie wrapped up in a big red ribbon.
DarcyJ76 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Whoa. Ok, yeah. I considered myself a "big spender" when I was considering going and staying in a hotel. $30,000 - not so much. I rescind my suggestion!
GreenDay_On_A_Boat Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Just in case Laura and I go, I looked up 4-star accommodations in downtown Sparta, and it looks like we are in luck: This will be a blast.

I'm guessing no one will have to worry about extra cleaning charges if someone vomits all over the bathroom in THAT place.

If you're camping, you're not allowed to leave the campsite/venue area, go to the "outside world," and then come back to camping area. If you're camping you have to stay on site the entire weekend (a policy presumably created just to make you spend more money on overpriced food an accommodations while you're there). So... yeah, fuck that.

Hermione Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Alf I think the original joke is really only aimed at very obnoxious fans who constantly post stuff like that, not at every fan from Brazil. However... Making jokes online? Do you really think someone would do that? You fucking bully. What makes you think he's joking?...how about all of you give it a rest now and stop trying to wind him up.
