Adrii1039 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Aaaaaand their Instagram page is gone..! http://i58.tinypic.com/5ousms.jpg omg the Nifi Facebook page was deleted!!!!! And so was the Twitter page. lmfao Wow! I'm shocked they took down their Facebook page as well! ?
Chin for a Day Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Its not on the Green Day, Miranda Lambert or Kings of Leon websites either. This is like a Twilight Zone episode, they want us to believe it never existed.
Adrii1039 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 this has got to be the most unprofessional thing I have ever heard of. Ever. They didn't even respond to any of us. They could have at least given respect and at least reply the handful of people who supported and paid for their event. But instead they just run away and avoid it all together! Ridiculous. -_-
Khaleesi. Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 omg the Nifi Facebook page was deleted!!!!! And so was the Twitter page. lmfao LOL WHAT
Guest Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 omg the Nifi Facebook page was deleted!!!!! And so was the Twitter page. lmfao It was only a matter of time. They probably got sick of hearing it from people who'd already bought tickets, hotels and airfare and were now utterly screwed into spending four days in Sparta, KY. I'd be surprised if any email to them gets a response more substantial than a "refund's being processed, we're done with you" form letter ever again lol. this has got to be the most unprofessional thing I have ever heard of. Ever. Oh, I've seen far worse. Most of it's work related and I can't discuss it, but I've seen far, far more unprofessional things done on a larger scale.
Guest Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Maybe it was a mass GDC hallucination. A GDCination, if you will.
AlissaGoesRAWR Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Has anyone emailed them and asked if we're getting fee prices back too? Those were like $20 for each ticket if I recall correctly.
Guest Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Has anyone emailed them and asked if we're getting fee prices back too? Those were like $20 for each ticket if I recall correctly. I don't see why you wouldn't.
AlissaGoesRAWR Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 I don't see why you wouldn't.It's Nifi. Nothing is guaranteed with this fucking shitshow. "Oops, let's delete our social media pages because we can't take criticism of our fuckup!" What a joke. You can tell they hired exactly zero public relations people to promote this thing. Maybe a free 18-year-old college intern with an iPhone at most.

The sad part is that they probably paid a publicist five figures to work on that festival.

Guest Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Ugh, don't make me rant about all that's wrong with inflated public relations salaries... You're just bitter because you chose to follow your ideals rather than the money with your journalism degree.

dumbell2424 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Wouldn't the ticket seller be responsible for fees and not the festival?
rootbeersoup Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Can't believe they canceled an entire festival because of the iHeartRadio incident
Sacredfire511 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 I do wonder why Green Day agreed to NiFi in the first place as I doubt it was going to be the most well paid festival they have ever done. The fact they were willing to play one show in some obscure part of Kentucky makes it seem as if they actually really wanted to do a show. Then again NiFi seemed to genuinely believe they were a good festival and could have been offering them $$$$$. I mean a festival nobody had ever heard of before were charging $30000 for headliner passes at one point so lol I don't think Green Day would really be concerned with how much they get paid for a festival.
AlissaGoesRAWR Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 I don't think Green Day would really be concerned with how much they get paid for a festival. You're quite naive.

Guest Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 I don't think Green Day would really be concerned with how much they get paid for a festival. Of course they are. Swimmers have a new EP to record.
Sacredfire511 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 We're talking about the band that has GA tickets for stadiums around $50.....
Guest Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 We're talking about the band that has GA tickets for stadiums around $50..... Yes. Stadiums. Stadiums that hold at least 50,000 people. 50,000 x $50 = $2.5 million. Trust me, Billie Joe can say all he wants to about it being all for the fans, and sometimes (like the HOB show) it really is, but show business is called show business for a reason. It's all about the money.
