We have shitty hotels and stuff anywhere you go up North that is rural and in the middle of fucking nowhere, too. Like, it was coming, but not really. It's got to be the lineup for the lack of sales, right? Or is this a sure sign that there are way too many fucking festivals nowadays?

I've been so depressed lately that I was really really looking forward to seeing my fav band again that I haven't seen since 2009 in Nashville. This sucks so bad on so many levels....I guess I just have to wait for whenever Green Day decided to go on tour...

I guess they got to a point where it was just cheaper to pay the termination fees for the artists and venue than it would have been to go ahead with the thing...which is really saying something, given the size of the venue and how many artists they have to pay off. If you're coming from overseas and can't get your travel expenses refunded, I'd send a note to NiFi indicating that you'd like to know what they intend to do about leaving you high and dry. They probably won't even reply, being that they clearly have no reputation to save for next year, but it's worth asking. If they say no, hey, change your flights around so you spend a lot more time in Chicago and a lot less time in Bumfucky.
