Hero_Of_The_Hour Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Shows are sometimes booked months in advance. My main point is this event is about raising money for this tragic fire relief...I mean people died in this fire it's a horrible tragedy and an opportunity to raise much needed funds for these people...not a "Green Day event".

Guest Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Praying for a debut live performance of Clothe The World In Jorts ft. Miley Cyrus.
captain peroxide Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I tried my best to disinform. Still didnt work in my favor so fml lol What a shitty thing to do.
AlissaGoesRAWR Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I tried my best to disinform. Still didnt work in my favor so fmlWait. Wait. Wait. You lied so people wouldn't know a Green Day-related band was possibly playing? Wow.
Hero_Of_The_Hour Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I tried my best to disinform. Still didnt work in my favor so fml This doesn't even make sense! You could have just not logged on and posted anything. Why disinform? Why would you not want tickets to sell out for a charity event? bottom line, its a benefit and they know what bands make money. Not if you are here "disinforming" and the tickets are already sold ou and nobody knows who is playing yet.

You lied so people wouldn't know a Green Day-related band was possibly playing? Wow. and it didnt work so obviously word got out. lol What a shitty thing to do. i was trying to remember who totally hated me on here.
Hero_Of_The_Hour Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 it was going to sell out regardless and it didnt work so obviously word got out. So then what are you talking about? Why were you trying to "disinform" people? Also your argument that Gilman know what bands make most money is irrelevant because as you have said it was going to sell out anyway.
mandajane Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I was trying to disinform GDC so i could possibly get a chance at getting a damn ticket, and not people who have seen them 20 times before flying from who knows where. it didnt work. go cry about it. I also promised not to tell anyone from my source.
unextraordinarygirl Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Ok so bottom line, is anyone going to this so they can figure out what it is and tell us about it? That's what I want to know.
Fuzz Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I was trying to disinform GDC so i could possibly get a chance at getting a damn ticket, and not people who have seen them 20 times before flying from who knows where. it didnt work. go cry about it. That's not cool. Those people who have seen them lots of times aren't actively trying to block you or anyone else out of a chance at seeing them.
captain peroxide Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Pretty sure this is the girl who stalked Billie to his house, so I guess I'm not surprised.
Mato Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Ok, so what's the conclusion? Is Green Day playing or not?
mandajane Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Green Day is playing. I was on public property outside his house.
solongfromthestars Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Someone who deliberately misinformed other fans is calling people who fly in from elsewhere selfish? Okay then (I'm not going, before anyone jumps on me for being an evil foreigner)
mandajane Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 i have my opinions. and thats all they are, opinions. people are going to do what they do regardless.
Hero_Of_The_Hour Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Green Day is playing. I was on public property outside his house. Jesus fucking christ...ok then... And yeah people NOTHING is confirmed we have no proof whatsoever of who is playing.
sara_gd Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 It's weird that some people hate people that travel to see them, but yeah there's really people like that To be honest, I think Billie Joe himself is not too fond on the idea. I think Mike loves to see people going from one place to another to see them play live, he appreciates the love. I don't know about Tre, but I've seen Billie ignoring and even being pissed with people having flags from other countries. Maybe they have it organized that way, so Billie likes to interact with locals more, or maybe it's just that he's prick sometimes It's just the impression that I get, I could be wrong and there's probably some examples that show that he does like non-locals going to their shows (if anyone has them, I'd really like to read them), but that's what I got from my experience. I'm excited to see if this happens or not!
Todd Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Oh boy. Hoping for a recording if this is Green Day or PHGP or Sweet Children or whatever
AlissaGoesRAWR Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Green Day is playing. I was on public property outside his house. I take back the nice shit I said to you, you fucking weirdo. Why would you go to his house?

I think he just doesn't like international fans acting entitled, like expecting to get onstage/meet them every time, etc. He always acknowledges me and interacts with me a bit.
Iva Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 While I can understand the effort to a certain extent (seeing a band live in another country during the time it was hard to leave this one without a bunch of ridiculous documents to prove that you were not to immigrate into the EU); I reckon he's a really smart person and therefore more than able to see the difference between entitled, elitist and backstabbing creeps on one and devoted fans who may just be too excited on the other side.
