Damn, you should have seen my family's reaction when my mother wanted to show my aunt and uncle who I'm going to see live. My mum had only seen snippets of Bullet in a Bible before, FOR A REASON. I constantly hid behind the armchair, dreading Hitchin a Ride. MY TEN YEAR OLD COUSIN WAS IN THE ROOM. And, kids, that's why you never watch Bullet in a Bible with your family.

She was very enthusiastic about that and she actually wanted to come to the concert with me, because I bought the ticket secondhand and seller sent me an extra ticket for free because she couldn't get rid of it. But I wouldn't let her, hell no, I couldn't take my mother to a Green Day concert with me. She's actually very cute about it though, she likes Green Day too (like, casually, not in a obsessive way like I do) and played a few Green Day songs at her birthday party, I'm told. I didn't notice it because I was either too drunk to hear it or was vomiting at the time :D Okay, too much information.

If I don't find anybody to go with me I'll take my mum. I can always pretend I'm surprised if BJ misbehaves. And how did your mom react to Hitchin A Ride? I'm sure mine wouldn't mind him doing it but would have a problem with my watching and liking it. ..it wasn't unpleasant. (But it would indeed be unpleasant for my rather conservative family ) It was a first time I saw a naked man and I'd prefer to have a better story to go with that though.

I was desperately searching on the internet for people to come with me and I found a nice girl who had mercy on me. My mother was very offended though Um, her mouth hang open. My aunt just laughed and said "NOW i know why you want to see them live". It was very embarrassing ;D Well, I would have preferred if Billie Joe was my first. Because the first time I saw a naked man and ACCIDENTALLY touched a penis was when I had to work at a retirement home for a month I had to dress him and i accidentally said "ew", that poor man. It was probably as degrading for him as it was awkward and traumatizing for me. But they forced me to. I'm so uncomfortable with seeing naked people.
