Someone else said it would be awesome if they made another Network album - I'm totally down for that! Or maybe they'll create another side project. As far as their new album, I honestly have absolutely no idea what to expect. I just hope it's better quality than the trilogy I'm thinking it'll be darker than the Trilogy, maybe a more Insomniac-like thing - they've gone through some hard personal stuff and the Trilogy seemed to get out all the "fuck it, we're gonna make mindless fun for the hell of it" excess energy, so I can see them getting more serious with the next one. Yeah, I agree, I think that would make for an awesome album.

Plus, I don't even really see American Idiot as that political... the coming of age story is more prominent to me than its political nature. American Idiot just came from such an inspired place, I just wonder if they even want to touch that concept again. Well, American Idiot and Holiday were pretty political. Or maybe I meant something more like 21st Century Breakdown, East Jesus Nowhere, Peacemaker, Minorty, etc. I'm not giving up hope ;D

You need to look at the actual candidates views not their party. I think that what we see next has the potential to be spectacular because they are at a place where they don't need to top anything. I would think that with everything they have been through, there is less pressure to create something great. With less pressure, truly great things can happen. They took a fuck it attitude with American Idiot. If people liked it great, if they didn't fuck em. I kind of think they are at a similar place right now.
