Chin for a Day Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Why are we so certain they will only play 3 songs? Nirvana played 4 at this years awards Usually only the headliner gets 4 songs. We don't know who will be the headliners yet. My guess would be between GD and Ringo.
Laetitia Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Sort of like this.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSWVIMRRNk4 What the actual…? As if the little shit had any actual vocal talent.
AlissaGoesRAWR Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I wish they could do some sort of medley of songs. Similar to when they meshed Paper Lanterns and 2KLYA, but with less bullshit in-between — not songs in full, necessarily, but just a snippet from several, so they don't have to narrow it down to just a few.
Z J Posted December 30, 2014 Author Posted December 30, 2014 He's a soul musician who did a song called (I think) Bring It On Home To Me, which Brutal Love is a copy of. What was funny is that my dad was learning to play it the week Tre came out. Using the word "copied" very loosely here. The second half of Brutal Love is new, and is really what makes the song, from a musical perspective. What the actual…? As if the little shit had any actual vocal talent. He does
Bastard of 1969 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I want to hear Misery live before I die. We all want to hear Misery before we die. They have some great songs they never played but we want to hear them live.
Libertine Angel Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Using the word "copied" very loosely here. The second half of Brutal Love is new, and is really what makes the song, from a musical perspective. OK, the second half is their own, but the first half is definitely Sam Cooke.
Chin for a Day Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 He does I agree. He is incredibly talented and a magnificent performer.
Hermione Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 What the actual…? As if the little shit had any actual vocal talent. Lol, he's an extremely talented singer. Miles better than Billie in technical terms. And it's just a comedy skit.
Z J Posted December 30, 2014 Author Posted December 30, 2014 OK, the second half is their own, but the first half is definitely Sam Cooke. Yeah no question, they admit to it openly
Bastard of 1969 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I would adore something like all-star jam. I think some "modern-era" song will be doable.
Haushinka! Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 They could very possibly play American Idiot, Good Riddance and Welcome to Paradise. As much as I love those tracks, I would prefer if they chose songs that were a bit less mainstream. Not getting my hopes up though; it's understandable if they choose to play their biggest hits.
Annie, get your gun Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 They should play Rest, Emenius Sleepus & Take Back. I don't know why 3 songs, but yeah... those are great.
Guest Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I literally do not care what they play as long as they play American Idiot. #noshame
Libertine Angel Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I literally do not care what they play as long as they play American Idiot. #noshame I'd be very surprised if they didn't.
Chin for a Day Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I literally do not care what they play as long as they play American Idiot. #noshame It's a pretty safe bet. Personally, I would sell my first born for JOS
DannyDirnt Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 American Idiot, Welcome to Paradise and Know Your Enemy. If I were them I'm pretty sure I'd go for some kind of medley that goes all through the evolution of the band, from 1039SOSH to the trilogy.
UNICORN VOMIT Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 It's a pretty safe bet. Personally, I would sell my first born for JOS I hope she/he doesn't read this. I disagree not AI....
Jean Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I hope they do Homecoming so Mike and Tre can sing.
That Dude Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Here's a Go Big or Go Home setlist: Their three biggest hits: Minority When I Come Around Boulevard of Broken Dreams

You see, my school had forced us to spend the end of our last day before Christmas vacation listening to "Uptown Funk" featuring Bruno Mars on repeat because we apparently had nothing better to do. Needless to say, after the tenth repeat I wanted to strangle him.

He is so talented and an amazing performer.
