About what? Jason's tenure with the band does not meet the requirements for induction. He was not an official member on an official recording. most band use alot of unofficial members.

imo John deserve it more than Jason..

Why? He was a hideous drummer on one album. An album that is only significant because it was their first and started the clock on when they are eligible for the rock hall. There was nothing musically significant on the album. Jason was at least a touring musician with them for 15 years.

because he made a lot for the band back then.. and those first 3 records he recorded with the band have awesome songs, like Pasalacqua, Dry Ice, Paper lanterns, 409 in your coffeemaker.

is he a terrible drummer? yes he is, but he's is way more important for the band than Jason White, which is just a good guitar pleyer that only plays the melodies and solos that Bj have written, will ever be

Plus, you said: "Jason was at least a touring musician" - let's induct Jason Freese too, he is a touring musician for over 10 years now

I agree with you on Jason, but John has no right to be considered for induction. He played on 1 album with some decent songs. But not one song of any significance. The only thing the album did for them is start the clock.

yes, i dont think he should be inducted, i just think he would deserve it more than Jason in this hypothetical case - but it is a personal oppinion, not a fact

OK, I don't think either one of them deserve it. The rock hall agrees.

The only important things I really see John as having done were getting Sweet Children/Green Day their first gigs at Gilman Street and writing my favorite song from 39/Smooth, I Was There. Other than that, he didn't really contribute to the other things that made Green Day so successful and popular, i.e., Dookie and American Idiot. It makes sense to me that only Billie, Mike, and Tré would be inducted, no offense to Jason.

I never expected either of them to be inducted but it would be nice to hear Billie, Mike or Tre acknowledge them in their speeches. I'm sure they'll mention Jason, not sure about John though.

I always root for the underdog ;) And it's punk drumming. I love Isocracy.

Tre is a punk drummer. By your standards, I can be a punk drummer.
