Certified Nimrod Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I personally hope it means Green Day will go on tour as a 3-piece band playing only their classics from back when they used to play live as just the 3 guys. And hopefully only play club shows. I love how they have evolved since those days, and love Jason White and the other guys that play live with them, but there is something nostalgic about the old days of just Billie, Mike & Tre on stage and I think it would be a good time for it, especially considering Jason White may be out indefinitely. And while I am an older fan, I am sure there are many younger fans that never got to experience their live shows in the 90s. Please use the standard font.

Jason and Billie are best friends (legit best friends I'm not using this as a throwaway statement) and according to Aaron Cometbus in In China With Green Day Billie wanted Jason to become an official member way back in '99 but Tre and Mike vetoed the idea. So why on earth would Billie post a pic on IG going hey the future starts now, fuck you Jason you have cancer, woohoo boys the original three are going to have a great year next year. Get real.

And since he had already bleached his hair for the movie, green is a great holiday color to change it to.

At least it is not sea green or yellow-green..... or camouflage.... if it was camouflage hair colored... I'd worry.
