The fans vote? What kind of shittown HOF is this. I expect they get in but I don't feel like it should be a popularity contest. At least not completely. I'm pretty sure the fan vote counts collectively toward a single vote of about 600 total (the rest from the committee of musicians, etc.). So, although it still is a popularity contest, it's not coming from the fan vote. And yes, Cleveland is a shit town. <3 I don't know if anyone would know this, but can you buy tickets to the induction ceremony? I live in Cleveland and this would be a dream come true to be there when they get inducted. I'm 98% positive they are going to get inducted. I'm giddy because all of this feels so right. Yes, but the tickets sell out FAST and then will likely get put up on StubHub and the like at a ridiculous price. Either way, I'm going to try... Pretty much every band inducted into the Hall of Fame is put in after they put out terrible albums proving they're way past their prime. Where one of the "experts" votes would be worth 1000 or more votes from the public. Actually it is likely to be even more votes then that. Also note GD are now in the lead.
