IcyMoffatt Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 The first time I watched the movie, I didn't realize it was Joey who catched Billie. When I rewatched it, I was like «Is that Joey?». I checked online to make sure it was him. Many scenes in the movie are great, but if I need to choose just one... I don't know... maybe when he got arrested. Everything in that scene is so exagerated. I don't know why but I love the quote from one of the two dads tells him after the other one welcomes him in the dads' club (when Billie is inside the playhouse): «We accept criminals.» XD By the way, does anyone know which hotel was used in the movie? The real Drake Hotel in NYC was destroyed years ago.

Cause releasing a soundtrack costs money and this was a indie release

And it's more cost effective to release a few tracks digitally nowadays than back when you had to produce CDs.

Still have to pay for the clearance to sell the music from Billie's label like say you're making a album you get Billie to play guitar and sing with you Billie agrees does it but in order to legally release the song you have to get a clearance from Reprise who can charge you whatever amount they want from nothing to a million bucks without paying and getting the label clearance legally you couldn't release the song with Billie on it like the movie A League To Remember which starred Madonna she recorded a song for it "This Used To Be My Playground" used in the movie but the label wouldn't allow it on the movie soundtrack

IcyMoffatt Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Here is the french trailer for the movie. I tought you might want to hear it even if you don't understand french. French being my first language, from what I can see in the trailer, I can say the dubbed version is horrible. It feels like the voice actors didn't even try to do a fine job. Plus, I don't know who did the translation, but why using french expressions/words nobody uses anymore??? It was dubbed in France. But it is still funny to hear Billie Joe «talking» in french with a voice that isn't his.

They didn't seem that huggy a family though, not every family is. The pushing the glasses up thing was more of an affectionate, familiar gesture like you can imagine that's a thing they do.

But to Billie it would have fit more to hug his daugter (my opinion) I also liked the scene where he is grabbing his little son from the crib. You could see that he has experiences with babies and toddlers in this scene because he has kids in real life and on his own. Just how he carries him tells you all.

With that said, I was actually fairly impressed by his acting and the movie wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I also thought about this a lot, lol

And yes, absolutely, Billie waddles like a little child. It's the short legs.
