You didn't even hear the song yet. It already sounds pretty good live, but they could have changed it quite a lot for the record.
Sixtrix Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 It seems like a possibility that Ordinary World will be released as the 2nd single since the movie is coming out around the date a second single may be expected. But that possibility would have seemed more likely to me if the movie would get a world wide theatrical release, and it doesn't look like that is going to happen. But I don't know, Ordinary World is still the closing song in the movie..

They might have played it in the credits, but I don't remember. It was definitely not in the last scene. The last scene was Madison Shipman singing, I can't remember what song it was. Plus, the movie and GD album are two different things. I don't believe the release of Ordinary World and Revolution Radio are related.

However, the exact definition of a day and date release is a movie that is released on all formats the same time it is released to the theater. There is alot of controversy surrounding it because the theater owners say they lose money and also because the independent film won't reach as many people because the only people ordering it are ones that are already aware of it. It could be that Ordinary World is not being released to theaters because of the distributor, but I was just looking at the definition Here is an article read on it. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/day-and-date-release-strategy-making-best-window-roshan-dwivedi
Hermione Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Oh my lord, that cover is hilariously terrible . That main picture of Billie, omg.

I thought it was fan-made! It looks so amateurish, jeez. That baby (also they could find nicer photos I believe) I'm laughing now.
DeJennsitized Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 LMAO that cover. Was there really a need to photoshop the baby? Or any of it?
jumpsalty Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Oh wow looks like they've took the shot from the film and superimposed a different shot of his face onto it 😂 Still it's all harmless fun. He seems really proud of it and I can't rip him for that haha
Hero_Of_The_Hour Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Oh...God...anyone else see that picture and think of iHeart and just wonder "why?!" not to mention the bad, bad photoshopping of the baby and random items
Sixtrix Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 That cover is terrible. Something along the lines of this picture would fit the cover better imo:
Marki. Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Oh god, that doesn't even look like Billie, what a terrible picture Who even approved of this cover...
Chin for a Day Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 The photoshopping is bad, but I think the pictures they chose kind of capture the theme of the film pretty well.

DeJennsitized Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Also why is the milk bottle floating there? There's no shadow. Magical psychic baby.

We've heard the live version and unless it's had a complete face-lift, with new lyrics and music that doesn't cure insomnia, then it's terrible.
stories and songs Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 His face doesn't look like it belongs on his body in the main picture, lol. How strange. He looks dang cute in the top pic, though. I'm excited to see it. Seems like a cute movie and he appears to be rather proud of it. Glad I'll have the chance to watch it!

Now just because it is released to a theater doesn't mean it will be in a theater, but that is the actual definition of a day and date release. They said that Ordinary World is getting a day and date release which implies the theater as well.
