What's the difference between a cow and 9/11? You can't milk a cow for 15 years.

That was low even by your standards

Americans haven't had a war on their soil since the Civil War. A few people die in a plane crash and it's the worst thing to ever happen. That many people die DAILY in other countries and no one gives a shit. 9/11 is one of the most over-exaggerated tragedies ever. Not only that but it has led Americans to vilify an entire religion for the sins of a few men.

Okay, I agree that 9/11 isn't the worst tragedy to have occurred, but that doesn't mean it's not a tragedy at all. It's not about the number of people killed, it's about the statement made. They destroyed two of the most iconic buildings in our nation filled with innocent people and threatened a governmental building (The Pentagon) located in our capital. It wasn't an attack on America; it was an attack on the world. If you've ever been to NYC, you'd know people from all around the world work there. It is one of the most diverse cities and those buildings were the epitome of just that. People were scared because they didn't know what would happen next and terrorist attacks have continued since then. Should our country stereotype a religion or region of the world? Of course not. We should allow these people to seek refuge here from their violent circumstances. However, that doesn't mean it wasn't a sad and scary incident.

Did this happen yet? What's going on besides useless trolling?

I thought Billie was performing a set tonight. Did I have the wrong date?

A distributor will hopefully pick it up at the film festival and then it'll make it to theaters!:)

Okay so I figure nobody knows all the answers, but New Yorkers/northerners like JJ may know better than me; are we 100% sure that the performance is included in the movie ticket because I was looking at TriBeCa's website and I noticed that the festival passes included "access to music events and live performances." So, I just wanted to make sure that I don't have to have one of those passes to see the performance afterwards; I don't have that kind of money haha. Also, if I manage to get tickets, I'm not sure whether to sit in the front or back because sitting in front for the movie would suck but I want to be up front for the performance for sure. So many decisions!

Yes it is included.  It says it right on the website

I wouldn't worry too much about where you sit.  I'm just guessing, but I bet this peformance will be a bit more subdued.  It is a short performance and it is a different audience.  Remember, they are trying to find a distributor for the film, not give a GD concert.  The show is to highlight the film.

I really hope to see Beej upping his acting abilities in this film.
Usually I'll watch his roles for the giggles, however if Shore is this confident in his work it would be interesting to note his progression as an actor.
Maybe Broadway left its mark, or perhaps he hired an acting coach.
Either way, I hope it's worth the hype. As I've mentioned before though, I'll watch anything he does the in same way that a mother would attend awful school plays.

I actually think his acting is quite good.  The thing he needs to work on is his delivery, but he has facial expressions and body language down.  That is a hell of alot harder than delivering a line.  He was hysterical in This is 40.  He is no Christolph Waltz but the potential is there if he wants to pursue it.

I watched his "Nurse Jackie" clip and I thought he was quite good, actually.  I think he was miscast as Dennis in "Like Sunday Like Rain", that part should have been a younger actor. He did a pretty good job considering he should have been 25, not 40...I think casting him is genius for "Geezer", based on the plot synopsis and the awesome screenshots.  He probably got acting coaching and lots of direction, too. Billie doesn't do anything half assed; I think we're going to be pleasantly suprised!

Wait, $23.50 for a movie and short performance? Sweet.
So I guess I'm sending my parents to this. A few days before they announced the schedule, Megabus tickets were five dollars one way. However, the day of, they were up at 13 dollars one way.

Unless I find cheaper bus tickets, I don't know if I'll be able to attend :(

But damn, 23.50$... Nice to know that it counts as a weekend screening.

He was miscast in Like Sunday Like Rain, but I still thought he was good.  He really had great facial expressions and body movements.  Have you seen Haunted?  He was so adorable in that.

Looks promising.
I will see it if it comes to my country of course.
And so far, only screening confirmed is Tribeca F. Festival.
Anyways, waiting for this movie to hit cinemas.

I agree, he was pretty good as Dennis. His face is very expressive naturally, that's a major reason he's such a great performer and singer. The Haunted clip is cute too. I think we''re in for a real treat with his acting, the Geezer role is perfect for him.

Tuesday's coming up, I get nervous thinking about trying to get tickets, but I'm being optimistic!!!
