I don't see how having an opinion about another artist and expressing it equals being a twat, though of course there are different ways of expressing it. He probably shouldn't have said the thing with the gun, but other than that I really don't care if some other musician doesn't like Green Day. Why shouldn't musicians or famous people be allowed to have an opinion like everybody else? "Normal" people allow themselves to judge and insult artists in comments sections and forums (like this one) all the time, often enough using even harsher words. But whenever a famous person voices a negative opinion about someone else, that suddenly makes them the biggest jerk of all time and people pretend to be saints in comparision while using worse insults than the original remark. It's just absurd how people (or the media) always make such a big deal out of a negative remark by a celebrity even though they take their own right to express their opinions - negative or positive - for granted.
