Neon Light Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Still says June 8th on the official site so I doubt there's been any change
Alan86 Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Any of the game stores i have checked here say the 11th of june and that link above says the 11th of june for europe too
jtdscape Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 http://www.gamefaqs.com/xbox360/981371-green-day-rock-band/data 05/31 ? Oh god I hope so!
Steven Samuels Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 I dunno what to say on this one....While I doubt it highly, I'm suprised by the June 8th release date for GDRB+ which seems to have not changed. Could they possibly be pushing the date for GDRB+ only? We'll see... but again I HIGHLY doubt that date
Tek Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Memorial Day? You guys really think the game is going to be released on Memorial Day? LOL - Game releases are always Tuesdays Its June 8th
Metanoia Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 i just talked to my friend yesterday again and he said that hes so excited because hes ging to buy it and so i can play it at his house <3
Homicidal_llama Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Well at least we know why their first two albums aren't featured. From the Rock Band website on the page about the history of the band; "The band reached widespread commercial success with the release of their second studio album, Dookie, in 1994." Harmonix doesn't know jack-shit about Green Day.

(Even though I count Kerplunk as their 2nd Album)
Young_Nastyman Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Well at least we know why their first two albums aren't featured. Harmonix doesn't know jack-shit about Green Day. Oh no, they made a mistake on a website, THIS GAME SUCKS BALLS!!! EDIT: in a way, they are right, 39/Smooth is only one minute and thirteen seconds over the length of an EP, so it technically could be considered one, and thus not be counted as a studio album
Hermione Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 39/Smooth is an album. There's no way they've gone "ooh I think it could technically be called an EP, so we won't call it an album" . They just haven't bothered to research the band properly so they've made a mistake.
Sanity Loan Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 That GameFaqs site says May 31st for PS3 as well.... but still June 8th for Wii I think someone should email Harmonix and/or Gamestop or something and ask what's up that
Young_Nastyman Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 39/Smooth is an album. There's no way they've gone "ooh I think it could technically be called an EP, so we won't call it an album" . They just haven't bothered to research the band properly so they've made a mistake. I thought it was an EP because of the play time until about a year or so ago when I looked at the wikipedia page. I didn't have the pre-dookie albums at the time, my friend gave me 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours and he told me it was an EP compilation (he was a bigger fan than me, so why should I doubt him?). So it's entirely possible the guy who wrote the page thought the same (or that his source thought the same). My point is: It's a mistake, they happen, get over it, it's not a big deal EDIT: Besides, this is the only time they've ever said anything wrong, everywhere else they've said Dookie is their 3rd album
JonnieSniper Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 "The band reached widespread commercial success with the release of their second studio album, Dookie, in 1994." or maybe they're classing it as their "second" album because kerplunk was the first album where Tre became a final member of the band. I even saw an interview and Mike mentioned that he thinks Green Day officially became Green Day when Tre joined. So maybe thats why Dookie is mentioned as Green Day's second album and not third I dunno, thats just my theory.
