Hmm, "allow passionate fans of that artist to connect with them in a way they never have before". Yeah maybe if they hadn't almost completely ignored half their albums . The game's geared far more towards people who don't know the band that well than towards passionate fans as far as I can see.

Agreed! All of the three popular albums and like two songs from the others, and NONE from the first two! Thank you The bit where Tre was explaining how they were trying to challenge the game designers was kinda funny As a person who has never owned a rockband game I was just wondering is it possible to just watch the band perform the songs?? I think it would be pretty cool to be able to just watch the computer graphics too. Lets face it when your actually playing the game you probally wont have time to appreciate the graphics fully.

There is a way that works, yes. If you have a microphone and you change the settings to no-fail mode and performance mode, you should be good to go. Just be the singer, select the song and it should work!

I just tried to convince my mom to pre order the game for me and she pulled the whole "no one is gonna want to buy it so there's no need to pre order" thing I still wanna do it!!! That intro is amazing A question that's pretty silly, probably, but the dude said "you can buy the songs"....like, buy with real money, or buy with money you make on Rock Band? (I don't own RB so idk how it works, haha) and with the thing with renting RB2, getting the DLC songs, putting them on an SD card and then you can put it in GDRB and play them there, do you have to like, open the console to do that? like, where do you put the SD card in? is there an entrance (...that's not the right word, is it? xD) in the console or do you have to break it open or something?

Thanks! Ok, good it automatically downloads, otherwise I wouldn't know how to. Would 2GB work too? I know now there's a 2GB SD card in there. And buying the songs, do you do that with RB money or something? or real money? or is it just a free download? I've never purchased songs before, not even on Guitar Hero, haha.

I would argue the opposite, By putting the full albums on there, they ARE catering to the fans. It just seems they're not because they put the most famous/recent ones. By putting the full albums you're getting a TON of deep cuts Just ask a non-fan if they've ever heard Chump/Letterbomb/American Eulogy/ANY-NON-SINGLE before. Can't you just get the Plus version which comes with the 6 DLC? It is unavailable outside of North America
