matteo263 Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 they create a fictional HOLE!! when they could hhave done woodstock!! and wft only 3 venues!!! beatles had 6!
Alan86 Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Well the fictional hole (warehouse) is probally supposed to represent Gilman. I agree though Woodstock seemed like a obvious choice as a venue.
kyanther Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 This is crappy. There needs to be at least 1 song from the lookout! albums damnit! (and don't try and say WTP is on there, that doesn't count!).
matteo263 Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 ^ they probably did the warehouse so that when the DLC comes out with 1039 or kerplunk they would not need a seperate venue but use one which incorporates the 3 albums. I would have expected at least one other venue.
Thomas-L Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I was hoping for more stuff from Kerplunk, but it's still a good track list. I'm still mighty psyched for this game.
sampy Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I was like 'WTF' too, when I saw the venues. But maybe Gilman didn't want to end up in to the game or something. So yeah lack of Woodstock is weird.
Tragically Green Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Can I pretend the warehouse is the warehouse in toronto (now called the kool haus)? Maybe they couldn't include pre-dookie songs due to issues with it being on another label? I agree woodstock would have been cool.....imagine using the wii remote to fling clumps of mud
Angela. Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 The setlist isn't bad... But I wanted a lot more, to be honest. I was hoping for a lot more off Nimrod. But it's nice that Nice Guys Finish Last is there. And obviously, content from 1,039SOSH and Kerplunk would have been great. And I'm surprised that there's only 3 venues, I was expecting a couple more. I figured Woodstock would have been on there, but I guess not.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 That setlist is kinda meh. It's three complete albums and a handful of singles. After all the rumours it doesn't really come as a surprise, but I had still hoped for some more variation. And it still pisses me off I won't be able to get the DLC songs unless I buy RB. And only three venues? Don't get me wrong, I'm still very exited for this game, but I'm not gonna pretend it doesn't disappoint me a little.
Comedy & Tragedy Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 1039/SOSH is my favourite album No Kerplunk, Shenanigans, and little Warning, Insomniac and Nimrod makes me sad.
Clayish Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 WOW.... 3 Venues? Really Harmonix? Your better than this...
jm_xd Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 i bought rock band today, so now i just have to wait for june 8th. i'm sad there's not gonna be 1039/sosh and kerplunk =(
Teenage Kicks! Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Sorry for being the ignorant but what is DLC? down loadable content?
gdpony Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 awwee ... and I was so sure there would be a woodstock venue ....
Maddy. Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Am I the only one who likes the setlist? down loadable content? Thank you.
themole Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 Not a fan of the setlist.... Ditto, this is really disappointing. I mean NOTHING from Kerplunk nor Warning. Insomniac is an afterthought, Nimrod fairs and little better. Less GD RB and more like Dookie and American Idiot Rock Band...
Demented or Disturbed Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 As soon as I saw that one of the venues was the warehoues I thought of the Network I'm pretty happy with the setlist, wish there had been more off of Insomniac, Nimrod and Warning (I really wanted Walking Contradiction, King For a Day, and Waiting) and couldn't they have at least got a few songs off of Kerplunk and 1039SOSH? I wonder why they didn't include woodstock?
Micky Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Less GD RB and more like Dookie and American Idiot Rock Band... yeah and that's such a shame because, ok, these are two awesome albums, but they are only the beginning and the end (yeah, with 21CB) of a more awesome career that deserves more songs off Warning, Kerplunk, Nimrod etc ... on the game. but since we can't change the setlist, I'm happy anyway. Better than not having the game at all
Robin105 Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Am I the only one who likes the setlist? Nope your not. I'm excited about it.
Lyz Z Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I don't know about anyone else, but Kerplunk is my favourite album...I think that Dominated Love Slave is absolutely VITAL. 2000 Light Years Away, too... And 80. Who Wrote Holden Caulfield? One of my Lies One for the Razorbacks I'll stop now before this turns out taking up a whole page. But seriously, the epicness of Dominated Love Slave on this game? Or Like A Rat Does Cheese :eyebrow: but as if that would ever happen.
Velocity Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 That setlist is kinda meh. I know, there isn't much variety at all on here. Insomniac, Nimrod, and Warning all have great songs that should've been included (umm, Castaway?!) Not to mention Kerplunk and SOSH but I had a feeling they wouldn't be in there due to label issues. And only 3 venues is ridiculous. The Beatles Rock Band had about 5 venues, why does Green Day get only 3? If Gilman didn't want to be included (which I could totally see happening) they could've included Woodstock. And Wembley or MSG at least. I'm still really excited for this game, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't slightly disappointed.
