ProstheticHeads Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Anyone think Green Day will re-record any of their songs for the game? Aerosmith redid quite a few, yes I realize theyre older so its lower quality, but who knows, maybe theyll add in some more solos hopefully?
swarheely Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 im mad stoked for this game, really hoping for american eulogy, that'll be a lot of fun to do with dual vocalists, i also think it'd be rad if they released DLC packages of some of their covers, like i fought the law, quick one while he's away, etc, also DLC of foxboro hot tubs would be legendary!
matteo263 Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 ^ I don't think they will I checked out beatles rock band venues to try and compare what they will do in gd:rb the cavern = gilman ed sullivan(first huge public apperance)=woodstock'94 Shea Stadium= biab Nippon Budokan= wembley 21 cb Abbey Road= studio 808 other possibles; live 8, new orleans super bowl, msg, pop distaster
DeJennsitized Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 21 guns and BOBD would also be nice. LOTAG? and I agree that AI should definately be there. LOTAG would be good, but I don't think they'd have time to create it for the game. Same with 21 Guns, although there's more of a chance. I imagine it takes ages to make those sorts of games. Does anyone know if there's going to be a PS2 version? If not, Wii is my only chance
DeJennsitized Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 ^ no ps2 just ps3 xbox and wii ok thanks Just found the band set on Amazon, so I'll get that so I'm ready for GD: RB
XBlade1X Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Also like someone said the 21CB style video would be really cool. That would be me XD It wouldn't be hard to do, I mean, it wont be exactly like the video, but just a way to turn cell shading on and use the colours and effects in the video, I don't see why an option or something wouldn't be there. The Beatles got some pretty Trippy shit in their game, So I want some trippy shit in ours too! Kinda boring and bland Like I said before I love it, its like a mix between AI (with the planes and bombs and stuff) and 21CB art (with the colours and style) I think its hard not to like it. The loading screens are cool too! I think it's actually the first time I've ever been excited about seeing loading screens in a video game
Sanity Loan Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Like I said before I love it, its like a mix between AI (with the planes and bombs and stuff) and 21CB art (with the colours and style) I think its hard not to like it. The only reason they had them for the beatles is because they stopped playing live shows towards the end of their career. So unless all these awesome tours and live shows Green Day has been putting on over the years have been complete lies, there will not be any studio sequences

This one, in fact; http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rock-Band-Box-Wii/dp/B001D77930/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1270823389&sr=8-6
Brian Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 dont forget about DLC. I bet we can buy the rest of the albums (like they did for Beatles) to complete the set. Wish there was stuff from 1039 smoothed out slappy hours and Kerplunk ...
DeJennsitized Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 "21st Century Breakdown gets the Fox Theater in the band’s home territory of Oakland, Calif., where they played a memorable gig last spring. At the band’s suggestion, Harmonix created a fictional hole in the wall called The Warehouse for Dookie, as a composite of the “house parties and squats” where they regularly jammed before making it big." Three venues? Is that it?
Alan86 Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I realy wanted more from warning nimrod and insomniac too. I hope the become available as dlc packs in the future
saraHsunshine Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I am crushed. Only two songs off of Warning, NO Kerplunk, NO Insomniac dont forget about DLC. I bet we can buy the rest of the albums (like they did for Beatles) to complete the set. Wish there was stuff from 1039 smoothed out slappy hours and Kerplunk ... Silly question but I was wondering, do the DLCs come for all consoles?! Or just XBOX360?
Laura! Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I was surprised when they didn't include Woodstock. But I can't wait to see the unlockable rare performances and interviews.
Alan86 Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 ^^Brain stew, jaded and geek stink breath are there from insomniac
Micky Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I am crushed. Only two songs off of Warning, NO Kerplunk, NO Insomniac there are songs off Insomniac ... only 3 though but how much is one downloadable song?
