i really wish this would come out sooner cus my guitar hero world tour game just broke, and i cant be bothered to buy a new one with this comming out. but idk if i can wait until octoberish.

I don't know if a date has already been fixed, because I didn't really keep up with news about this, but I checked on the HMV website and they put the release date as October 6 2010. You can see it here: http://www.hmv.ca/Products/Detail/565336.aspx

I don't know if it's reliable, but at least it gives an idea of when the game will come out.

Aw I was hoping that the June date would be right Oh well haha I guess that was a long shot. They better work on the characters! They looked really raw on the advertisement from the VGA's. Tre was scary and Billie was a full-on asian

Yeah me too, but I'm pretty sure it takes a lot of time to create game like this, with all the graphics and stuff

aaaaargh!!! October sounds like a looong time from now (if that's the actual release date) I hope that maybe the game would come out this summer or something

It's sorta nice to see it being in October. I really want it to be good and usually when it's pushed back, it means they're working on getting it perfect. On the other hand I'm not really sure why it's taking so long...In my mind the graphics should be the biggest priority. After all, the gameplay is already down and I'm sure for mapping the notes they just import a MIDI file into a program which converts each note to a specific keystroke.

Vocals may be a LITTLE harder to map, but with all the multi-tracks it shouldn't be too hard...

On a side note, I hope they do Motion Capture on the guys like Activision did for GH:WT and GH:M.

I hope we get another Track Pack before the game comes out. Since the other TPs have been all 21CB tracks, I would like the 3rd TP to include 21CB, American Eulogy, and Before the Lobotomy (as long as those aren't going to be in the game)

Thats what their website says as well. No one believes that its the real date since Game Stop likes to just throw dates out there so people will preorder. And I think it's dumb to preorder this because I think only the green day and hardcore rock band fans are going to buy it. So I don't think there will be any problems with getting it
