It is :o

i think they might come out with special instruments though so you never know lol

Yeah just about to post that, no idea when it comes to games but are those prices good?

Yeah its a normal price for a video game actually.

But if they start coming out with instrument bundles then it'll quite expensive

Posted

60 dollars is normal for JUST the game.

It will be around 120 dollars if they make equipment for it.

I have my fingers crossed that the Beatles Rock Band instruments will work fine. I mean who wouldnt want a set based on Green Day - but lets face it, I'm cheap...

Same, I'm cheap too.

The Beatles controllers should be fine, as long as you're using them for the same game platform. Even my old Guitar Hero controllers work fine on my Beatles Rock Band game, so I'm assuming it'll be the same in this case.

They will 100% work with Green Day Rock Band.

Found this via a PS3 site, and why there might be a delay. Rock Band is distributed by EA Games and EA's contract to distribute RB ends March 2010.

Quote (from ps3fanboy.com):

If you're wondering where Rock Band 3 is, a year and a half after Rock Band 2 and five months after the launch of The Beatles: Rock Band, it seems EA isn't sure it's going to get to publish it. During an investor conference call, EA execs revealed that the publisher's deal with Viacom (the company that owns MTV, Harmonix, Rock Band and maybe you as well) is only active through fiscal year 2010 (which ends March 31).

Presumably the deal somehow includes the yet-to-be-released Green Day: Rock Band -- but EA's unlikely to announce any more Rock Band games until it knows it has the license locked down for another year.

Lame. Gotta love companies and their 'agreements' and whatnot

Not too worried about it though

Yeah. Going into the industry, I'm not worried about it either. It'll come out when it comes out. I've waited much longer for other games.

Oh meh.

Well, as long as it's coming out within the foreseeable future, I'm happy.

I think I can safely say I am the first on the site to preorder. (or at least one of the first). FOUR MONTHS PEOPLE (if the estimate can be trusted)

I really hope June 1st is the release date as that is earlier than i imagined it would be :-)
