Mrs. Nobody Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 I can't wait to get this. I've never actually tried rock band or guitar hero, but it looks well fun (:And I'd buy it even if it was censored. Would be a big of a bummer though They could just release with a parental thingie on it
Clayish Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 I can see this being the 1st rated M music game. If they bleep out the swears, I'm going to be a bit disappointed, but its not a deal breaker.
04rebhop Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Looks like i am going to have to buy Rockband for my ps3. I hope it isn't as bad as guitar hero - my guitar controller the day i had it on Christmas Day so i traded it into a game shop. Should be a very good game though.
Sanity Loan Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 On the topic of censoring: I think that when you first load up the game, there should be an option to allow the cursing or to leave it out. Kind of like in the new Call of Duty game (except that is to leave out a particular disturbing level and not cursing)
newsflash777 Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 ^ I hope so. I despise censoring. Especially when it's Green Day 'cause their 'cursing' or whatever is for a reason. It's not like Slipknot or something "FUCK BITCH ASS SHIT ETC ETC!!!!"
HoneyDo666 Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 My friend saw a commercial on VH1 for Green Day Rock Band the other day!I think I'll be relegated to singer, I can't play musical instruments for shit, but it'll be fun to try!I sing soprano 1 though, so this will probably be way outta my range!
XxPARISAxX Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Okay, I have a question.I have Guitar Hero: World Tour right now, so would I be able to play the Rock Band: Green Day game?? I really, really hope so.. but I don't see how that would work. Is there a chance that maybe I can buy the PS2 game and use my World Tour guitar/drums/vocals to play??? I'm worried because I really LOVE Green Day and am soo excited for this game to come out, but I don't want to have to spend God knows how much for a whole Rock Band game!! Plus, that's just an extra set of drums and guitar and whatnot... i'm so lost. Pleasee help! Thanks, Love Parisa<3
Fuzz Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 As far as I know, no. Guitar Hero and RockBand use different controllers. I'm not 100% sure about that though.
bjrules Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 I can't wait for this game to come out. It sound like it'll be really awesome.

Fuzz Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 awesome, thanks for that. This makes me want to buy Guitar Hero as well, because I really prefer those drums.
Miss Hedgie Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 I don't even own the games consoles and I want this so badly!
Specs_101 Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Just heard about this Tonight (omg where have i been?) and I'm pretty excited about it as I'm a big fan of rhythm games the only gripe i have with the trailer is that the band model don't look all that great right now but hopefully they will improve over time. Just hope it gets released sooner rather than later i can't wait all year to play this game
Micky Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 awesome, thanks for that. This makes me want to buy Guitar Hero as well, because I really prefer those drums.you're welcome

Steven Samuels Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Has anyone noticed that the models in the trailer, and the HD picture that was released to the press are vastly different? I mean, BJA looks WAY more detailed in the picture along with everything else. Maybe the trailer was made ages ago and they didn't have time to make a new one with the updated graphics engine?
Fuzz Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Considering the game is still months away, I'm willing to bet they still haven't got the final look done.
SpiffyGiffy Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I'm just wondering...there's a number of games which have swear words but still not bleeped out....why GH/Rockband?I think it's because if you are singing it you would actually be doing the swearing. Then it would be encouraging kids to swear = not good newsI think they don't really look like Green Day. :/Give it some time, it's only early days
Jacob. Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 theres a group on facebook called Green Day: Rockband
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I think it's because if you are singing it you would actually be doing the swearing. Then it would be encouraging kids to swear = not good newsYeah. But it would sound really weird to just make a silence where there originally was a swear word. Not that I think it would stop them from censoring it, but still.
