I'm definitely getting this when it comes out. I've been hoping for this for a long long time! I guess I won't be leaving the living room for a while after this comes out

I am so excited about this, I can't even convey it properly into words, so I'll just say SQUUUUUEEEE :bunny:

That'll do.

On average, how much does Rock Band cost? Thinking on pre-ordering it for my boyfriend. Thanks

That would interest me too.

^ I think the game alone will be $50 for the Wii, and $60 for the PS3 and Xbox 360

But if you need the guitar/drum set too ... I don't know. About $150/200

Can you use the guitar from Guitar Hero for Rock Band as well?

I found this link:

http://www.rockband.com/compatibility

It shows the compatibility of guitar hero controllers for GH and RB.

I'm pretty sure urs will work on RB :)

EDIT: added a more up to date chart which includes Beatles Rockband

I found this link:

http://www.wired.com/gamelife/2008/11/official-guitar/

It shows the compatibility of guitar hero controllers for GH and RB. It shows World Tour guitar works with all the games listed there...only if u got Xbox 360 or PS3...otherwise its incompatible if u got Wii and PS2.

I'm pretty sure urs will work on RB :)

I think I got it, but I'm not sure... I have a Wii, does that mean I can't use the GH guitar for RB? Damn.

Thanks.

I just updated the link which shows the chart with Beatles Rockband. Apparently Wii guitar works with the beatles one but is only incompatible with RB 1. So i'm hoping it works with Green Day RB.

Okay, thanks. Then I hope it works with GD Rockband as well. Would save me another 50$ or whatever much a RB guitar would cost.

I only have one Rock Band (my brother has GH2, 3, WT and 5 though) game and that is The Beatles. I went down and bought it the day it came out and it is probably my favourite game of the year. If the Green Day one is half as good as that then I will be happy  (though I would like it to be better than half as good )

i hope Give Me Novacaine is on this game

Gah. I seriously need to get an Xbox 360, Playstation 3, or a Wii before it comes out!

Why do they have to be so expensive?! D:

random...

but they have a rockband displayed at my work. so every once in a while I'm lucky enough to hear 21 guns.... it really makes my day

I'm curious what songs are going to make it on the game.
