I neither have a PS nor a XBox, but anyway... it's great.

But will they still work on the characters? Because Tré doesn't look like Tré at all and Billie reminds me of some anime character and looks like he's 20 or something. Mike already looks pretty good though.

I think that there's no doubt about it that they're going to still create characters for better and better ! =) It's going to be freaking cool to see young guys in the beginning of the game and 21st Century Breakdown-era Billie, Mike and Tré on the finish line ! Of course through those Dookie-era guys like blue haired Billie and to the end of the century he's getting little weight and ahah lol

With rock band, do you have to buy the full thing? I mean, obv i'd buy the game and a guitar, but do you need the drums too? or is that an option?

if you want the full rock band experience you can buy the full band thing but if you just want the guitar and the game yes they have an option for that.

i already have the full band thing from beatles rock band and i dont think im gonna buy any instruments but if they have a blue guitar ill but it

I pretty much just went insane when I saw this on thier site. I mean I have been talking about this since the Beatles one...pretty much said to my little brother (who wants rock band for chirstmas) that "the only thing that would beat the Beatles rock band would be a Green Day one."

I just have two Guitar Hero guitars that came with the duel guitar pack with Guitar Hero World Tour. One's the one with the wood grain look, and the other is the black Les Paul replica that came out with GH3.

The Les Paul replica has some problems, the Green Button won't register unless I pause and unpause, which can totally ruin a multiplier.

And the wood grain one squeeks whenever I strum, very annoying, but I may buy a RB guitar, doesn't necessarily have to the the 'Green Day' one but if it's cheap I may.

My wifes been wanting to purchase a drum kit but it's hard to justify paying almost 100 bucks right now, but she may get it for X-Mas. Nothing like buying a present for someone you may use more lol

I can't wait for this to come out, was sooooo excited when I read about it. It is going to be songs from their whole career which is great - being on drumming welcome to paradise :-)

Oh my I've just realised how thick I truly am, I have only just cottoned onto what this is all about. It's exactly like that Beatles Rock Band isn't it? But Green Day. I've just watched the advert and it looks amazing, the technology is just incredible, even down to the way Tre plays his drums and the way Mike presents his bass at the end of a song is done perfectly. There may have to be something added to my Christmas list.

Do you have to have a certain games console to play this or is it just a game on its own?
