Weird that they talked about the possibilty of going to huge complicated lengths to make their first two albums usuable on the game, yet they haven't even put out any more of their MUCH more well known and readily available songs from later albums. The game must've not done as well as they hoped Why on earth did you post 3 times? Sometimes when it's being slow to post you accidentally click post more than once, and it posts multiple times. Or your computer just messes up and does it. Happens all the time on GDC . He edited two of the posts to show they were accidental.
StarKiller Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 As they said, they will not release any further DLC for Green Day: Rock Band. But future DLC for Rock Band 3 is still possible. They actually did not exclude the idea of GD:RB 2, but I highly doubt that. Anyway, I'd love to see Awesome as Fuck as DLC, considering that it's time for some new Live Tracks. Unlikely that it will happen, because we already got 13 tracks of it (including Letterbomb). I'd die just for a few old songs though.

Redundant and Walking Contradiction are two of my favourite Green Day songs so it's pretty annoying that even though they were singles they didn't put them on there . Ahh well. But nothing. I guess they were overly optimistic about how well the game would do.

I really wanted to play some of their other songs from Insomniac and Nimrod, especially Armatage Shanks and Platypus.

Most signs point to no. A few months ago Tre said that they were trying to digitize the first two albums, so they could make Rock Band tracks out of them. BUT with Harmonix being sold, the general fatigue amongst the general public, and the fact that the game honestly didn't sell that well, Green Day: Rock Band is most likely a finished project

Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 It's annoying how it's such a pain to get the DLC for this... You have to buy another RB game, then go to a store dar away to get RB store credits because they aren't sold anywhere, then figure out how to buy things in the RB store and onky then you can get the songs. I really want them but I doubt it's ever going to happen Edit: with the current conversation in here going on, I'll clarify that I mean the six missing songs from 21st CB by DLC.
