Ugh, I'm frustrated. I want to buy/download the extra 21CB songs, BUT there's not a single fucking store in the whole country that has RB2 for wii (apparently it's sold out)...there's no place to rent the game for a few days, and Amazon's a bitch and won't ship that game to my country. *facepalm*

yep they can play the older songs without them but the newer ones need more guitars and Billie can't play 3 guitars, sing and ran around at the same time

The majority of Green Day's songs are performed/played without the help of White, Freese, and Blake, so Green Day can still go on without them....Out of the hundreds of songs Green Day has produced,(this does not include Foxboro Hottubs or The Network) the two Jasons, and Ronnie have contributed to no greater than 35-40 of those. That leaves all of Slappy Hours, 39 Smooth, Kerplunk, Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod, Warning, Shenanigans, and two songs off of Superhits that Green Day can choose from...

That doesn't go to say that I dont think that Jason White, Jason Freese, and Ronnie Blake aren't talented, but I think Green Day were more foundationally stable and better off without them. Take notice of when they did the 924 Gilman Street performances and even Woodstock...Green Day made it with just the three of them, therefore they can still make it...

Yep. The songs are available to buy on the RB2 store, that comes only with (you guessed it!) RB2....Even though I've tried to be sneaky and whatnot and trying to get them by other means...it hasn't worked. #fail for me

Jason White is on stage the whole time during their live show, with the exception of the acoustic encore.

And yes, the majority of GD's albums don't have the Jasons as additional artists, but that doesnt mean there's only one guitar track, it just means that Billie played multiple guitar tracks that were mixed together in the studio. It would obviously be impossible for him to play 2 guitar tracks at once live. And then there's the piano in some songs. They NEED Freese to play that.

While yes, Green Day could play as just the three of them, it wouldnt do the music justice. It needs to be played live the way it sounds on the records or else you're only playing half a song.

Random question, but I have GD Rockband for Wii and I was wondering if anyone knew how to get the songs that were released before the actual game was released. On the RockBand game I have, it doesn't include 21 Guns, Last of the American Girls, Know Your Enemy, Christian's Inferno, or ¡Viva La Gloria!. Does anyone know how to get those?

I bought it off bol.com, which is a Dutch site (that does ship internationally), and the game and the instructions are in English, and it's PAL. However, then it would cost you €40 for the game (for Wii, for X-box and PS3 it's €60) and €15 for shipping

But maybe the instructions and game are always in English.

Well, unfortunately, the creators of the game didn't put these songs on the game because you could already buy them from the Rock Band store, which sucks, because you have to pay more money than you already have to buy the game. Also without these songs, there is one video that you can't unlock because you don't have those songs to complete that certain challenge. But if you're lucky, i think they have put out a game called Green Day: Rock Band Plus, which includes those six songs, but i'm not entirely sure, google and it would probably come up.

I've got GDRB for PS3 but I've still yet to actually buy the PS3 to play it on, let alone the controllers...

I got my PS3 yesterday, quite an amazing deal too. I only managed to have enough to get a cheap Microphone after spending all that money on the console, Wheel, and Gran Turismo 5... But at least I have something to play the game with until I can afford a guitar on PS3.

Basically I have 3 games.. GDRB, GT5 and MGS4. I only really bought the PS3 for my friends and the exclusive games I couldn't get on my PC or Xbox.

By the way guys... I'm a total loner on PSN, I literally have no friends yet so please add me

I haven't had so much fun in a racing game before, but I think it's mainly because of how awesome the game is with the Steering Wheel I got.

It's a great experience, and it's extremely rewarding when you win a race after literally fighting against the wheel, trying to stay on the track at a high speed

If you do get a PS3 soon, It would be great to play some games sometime

Even though Green Day Rock Band is much easier than Guitar Hero, doing all that fast strumming up and down on it has done wonders for my strumming up and down skills and made me better at the hardest songs on Guitar Hero
