Young_Nastyman Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 People worry too much about numbers, it's so stupid. That's why I only read joystiq reviews. No numbers, just thoughts on the game and what they experienced. The only time I've seen joystiq review receive any flak was for Left 4 Dead 2. It wasn't so much a review as it was a rant about it being too hard (when one of the major complains of L4D was that it was too easy)
Homicidal_llama Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Its going to get much better reviews than that in the next two weeks. I think this 75% will be the lowest score for this game, unless it gets reviewed by a bunch of fags who don't know how to review a game and just say how much they don't like the band That's a little bit of a naive statement. Come on, it's a music game. 75% is about right no matter what band it's for and just because it's Green Day makes it no different. In an ideal world this game could be so much better with more variety of songs, more venues and even songs from some of Green Day's influences. It will be a cool game but I doubt I'll class it as a classic just because it features my favourite band.
persons Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 hey, on VH1 Classic they're playing 21 Guns as i speak, i'm recording it too , i'll have it up by tomorrow.
Jacob. Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 The reviews won't affect the sales... Green Day fans will buy the game regardless, and there are millions.... People might check the reviews to see if the game is any good, And if it has good reviews, those people might buy the game. The reviews will help the sales, just not by a ton.

Tek Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 You can use the mic. You just cant use the mac the same time your playing the guitar. Well....then that defeats the purpose of wanting to use both..... With Rock Band 2 - I could use my guitar and use my headset plugged into my controller as another player. So I would do local band quickplay - Player 1 Guitar - Player 2 - Headset Mic but now with Green Day Rock Band that doesn't seem to work...

Green Daynger25 Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 I am a little curious. I hope the demo just wanted to show two of the venues. When the retail game hits, are we gonna be able to just pick one venue and play all songs in it, or is it gonna switch back in forth when you create a setlist? I am pretty sure we can play any song at any venue, it may nor be authentic but who cares it's a game.

I would love to play dookie at the fox theater!
Clayish Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 For like the 10th time, you can ONLY play songs from the venue they come from.. ie no Longview at Milton Keynes, etc.

basKT_case90 Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 is anyone else getting lag when singing through the mic? its hard to concentrate on my singing when i hear a delay in what comes out of the speakers. is this normal for rockband? in the meantime i have turned down microphone volume, which makes it easier to sing. but i want to be able to hear my voice
idc Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 I really hope that we will be able to stay at one venue. Green Daynger25 Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 I don't know about if it helps with the Mic, but at the beginning it asks if you want to calibrate, try that it may help.
