I've always hated the album version cause I saw some live version before I heard it, and the album one feels too polished and scripted. I mean, it's meant to be an angry song! Anger is spontaneous! Anyway, the slight lyric change on the demo is MUCH better than the "always fuck-fucking with my head now" on the album imo.

So far Carpe Diem is the only song that is markedly better than the original trilogy track. Missing You, Stay The Night, Nuclear Family, Rusty James, and 99 Revs all benefited from distortion.
