Spike Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Rat Does Cheese is the second half If that's based on the fact they did them back to back on the radio one time, Like A Rat Does Cheese would be the first half But really they're just two different songs.
green day is Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Huh never knew that, I always though of the two as separate. I feel as though the world could use someone of Tre's genius... I'm pretty sure that was a joke but if it wasn't it's wrong anyway. They were just played together when LaRDC debuted.
astoria Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 I'm pretty sure that was a joke but if it wasn't it's wrong anyway. They were just played together when LaRDC debuted. Yeah probably a joke but when you listen to them together it makes sense... Well as much sense as the two songs can make anyways...
WhiteTim Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 I didn't realize labels tried to instruct stores on things like that. That's really weird. Some of the rsd releases are very limited so I guess labels try to suggest a do not hold to make sure people who do go have a chance cause stores for limited numbers will only get 1 to 2 copies

What's even the point of that?

Just a joke *backs away* All By Myself is part 3, then
astoria Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Just a joke *backs away* All By Myself is part 3, then My bad sarcasm sometimes evades me... And does that make Fuck Time part 4 or the twin brother no one like to let out in public?
Spike Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Just a joke *backs away* All By Myself is part 3, then Well you did such a good job of disguising the humour What part is Food Around The Corner, then?
astoria Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Well you did such a good job of disguising the humour What part is Food Around The Corner, then? It's the prequel
WhiteTim Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Seriously, one or two? What's even the point of that? Mainly so they can make money by over charging vinyl collectors
Spike Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Seriously, one or two? What's even the point of that? It's pretty shitty. I was after something from RSD last year, I went into the local record shop near my uni and they'd only been given one copy of the thing in question, which the owner kept for himself then sold on eBay for an absolute fortune.
WhiteTim Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 RSD used to be cool but nowadays it kinda sucks now they release shit do a "limited" run so they can put a high price tag if a vinyl wasnt a RSD release something would be 20-30 but since they can claim its a RSD exclusive they'll jack the price to 60-90 bucks...
Heather. Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 It's pretty shitty. I was after something from RSD last year, I went into the local record shop near my uni and they'd only been given one copy of the thing in question, which the owner kept for himself then sold on eBay for an absolute fortune. Personifying all the noble intentions of RSD, most certainly.
SuperXCsabre495 Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 YES!! There better be some trilogy demo's. Even the 21st Century Breakdown version of Drama Queen would be pretty amazing
Spike Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Personifying all the noble intentions of RSD, most certainly. It doesn't really do the idea any favours when record store owners themselves are screwing people over, does it?
Certified Nimrod Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 What are the chances they would tour after this release? Or would they continue working on new material? I doubt they'll tour for this. They didn't tour for Shenanigans. What part is Food Around The Corner, then? Tre didn't write that. It's pretty shitty. I was after something from RSD last year, I went into the local record shop near my uni and they'd only been given one copy of the thing in question, which the owner kept for himself then sold on eBay for an absolute fortune. That really makes me mad.
Trina Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 omg omg omg omg omg omg OH MY GOD!! I am so excite. Already impatient though, sheeeeesh! Hopefully it's lots of unknown stuff, not songs we already have. Ahhh! This is so exciting. YAASSS Omg, are they going to keep the tradition of embarassing album titles. wow. how mid noughties of them. loves it. Oooh, I hope we get a song early or something.
AlissaGoesRAWR Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Didn't the trilogy teach you people not to get overly excited for things? No, I'm honestly kind of cautiously optimsitic pessimistic.
Jon Benjamin Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 I doubt they'll tour for this. They didn't tour for Shenanigans. Pop Disaster
Certified Nimrod Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Pop Disaster Did they play Shenanigans songs?
SuperXCsabre495 Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Pop Disaster Wasn't that mainly for International Superhits? They played Maria at every show I think and no Shenanigans songs
PleasedToMeetMe Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Oh come on, it was hardly an unreasonable question. Do people really feel the need for a new album right now? Seriously? We just got 3 brand new fucking albums (which apart from about 2-3 songs, are excellent) and now we're getting this . . a 2 disc collection of possibly all unreleased Green Day demos and people still want more?? I just don't get it . . people are never satisfied with anything. I remember when International Superhits/Supervideos was released and everyone went apeshit. They were overcome with happiness, over songs and videos that had all been previously available for years. My how times have changed.
Jon Benjamin Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Did they play Shenanigans songs? No but same year Wasn't that mainly for International Superhits? They played Maria at every show I think and no Shenanigans songsthey also played that at almost every AI show

She didn't say "oh, Green Day should do this," she was simply asking if other users thought there would be a tour.
SuperXCsabre495 Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 No but same year they also played that at almost every AI show I thought we we're only talking about Pop Disaster... lol
