Karl Karlson Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I was disappointed that the "21 Guns EP" from 2009 was just a digital download - that's a collector's nightmare.
WorryRock02 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Guys i've just found another music store in my city that's going to celebrate the RSD ( and they are supposed to get Demolicious cd/lp/cassette) . This store ISN'T listed among the stores that will practice on http://www.recordstoreday.com/. So, don't base yourself on the lists from the site! Go out and ask directly to the music store!
beejeezee Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I was disappointed that the "21 Guns EP" from 2009 was just a digital download - that's a collector's nightmare. It hurts me to think about that.
Jon Benjamin Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I'm used to it now but does anyone else think they could've picked a better name?
beejeezee Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I'm used to it now but does anyone else think they could've picked a better name? Probably, but Demolicious is so very Billie Joe.
Jon Benjamin Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Probably, but Demolicious is so very Billie Joe. It totally should've been ¡Cinco! I mean it's still a trilogy release
beejeezee Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 It totally should've been ¡Cinco! I mean it's still a trilogy release Oh god no. I like Demolicious, it seperates it from being a part of the trilogy.
Jon Benjamin Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Oh god no. I like Demolicious, it seperates it from being a part of the trilogy. That's true, I still think it sounds like something that'd be a current radio pop album
Sanity Loan Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 ¡CERO! would have worked, you know, because it's before ¡UNO! (cero is zero in Spanish)
Jon Benjamin Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 ¡CERO! would have worked, you know, because it's before ¡UNO! (cero is zero in Spanish)Oh shit
beejeezee Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 That's true, I still think it sounds like something that'd be a current radio pop album Cinco sounds a lot more like another studio album, than a demo album though. At least Demolicious has the word demo there.
Jon Benjamin Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Cinco sounds a lot more like another studio album, than a demo album though. At least Demolicious has the word demo there. They could've doubled the amount of tracks and called it the Trilogy Anthology
beejeezee Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 They could've doubled the amount of tracks and called it the Trilogy Anthology Or they could have released a live album with different tracks from different shows.
Todd Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Or they could have released a live album with different tracks from different shows. I'd hate that. There's plenty of live recordings on youtube, maybe poor quality, but we don't have any demos in any quality!
alienlifeform Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 just found out that are Record Stores in Brazil supporting RSD that is unexpected, though awesome news for me
localinsomniac Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 ¡CERO! would have worked, you know, because it's before ¡UNO! (cero is zero in Spanish) My vote would have been for ¡DEMOSTRACIÓN! or something similarly dumb. So I guess Demolicious is okay.
The Forgotten Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I'm excited for this purely because of "State of Shock" ... I honestly don't care much for the demos

SuperXCsabre495 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Does anyone know if the CD is getting a limited release? I called a local record store and they said they don't know if they will be getting any extras of either the CD or Vinyl (I guess I was supposed to tell the record store to order Demolicious) but they will put my name down and hold them if they get extras. I mean if I can't get a vinyl I want at least a CD so I can listen to it on my iPod

SuperXCsabre495 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 vinyl is limited, CD is not. Okay thanks! I was just a little confused on the phone because they made it sound like they would only get a few
Whatsinaname Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I found a comic store in my town who sells vinyls and they have 15 copies on order but they are not sure they will get that many, if any. I'm staying optimistic.
The Forgotten Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Stay the Night most likely with the original drum intro Fair enough, not to mention the acoustic version of it as well.
deadair Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Will the CD eventually be sold online (i.e. Amazon), or just in actual stores?
