Tubbie Head Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 http://www.rocksound.tv/m/news/article/green-day-to-release-demolicious-collection-for-record-store-day Ahhhh so cool!!
Karl Karlson Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I don't like the cover for the Trilogy demos. Would have been better for a 'regular' demo collection, but well...they had to change the style at some point - would be boring if they do the same thing over and over again.
Oxymore Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 It's such a contrast, a dark cover like that, when you compare to the trilogy.... ''All the pretty colors''...
WorryRock02 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 ARTWORK includes an acoustic version of 'Stay The Night', as well as a previously unreleased track 'State Of Shock' Read more at http://www.rocksound.tv/news/article/green-day-to-release-demolicious-collection-for-record-store-day#krlUkLdb1dQVG126.99 Holy fuck! I just love it! And oMG acustic version of Stay The Night!!! Good for state of Shock....but so...no dreamcatcher
burnout409 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 That is very average artwork in my opinion, exited for an acoustic version of Stay The Night, when Uno came out I had been playing the song and i'd hoped Billie would do his little acoustic encores sometime during the tour and would play Stay the Night acoustic so yeah I'm exited for that, and will be awesome to hear State Of Shock properly!
Martyn Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 It's such a contrast, a dark cover like that, when you compare to the trilogy.... ''All the pretty colors''...When you look at it that way then wow, it does seem like a goodbye piece. or at least a very long break haha.
solongfromthestars Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I like the artwork, it's definitely an interesting contrast to the "fun" trilogy art. This needs to happen already, so exciting.
Tubbie Head Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Hahah the pizza package reminded me of that youtube video they posted when they were working on the trilogy, where Billie was eating pizza!
burnout409 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 http://www.altpress.com/news/entry/green_day_to_release_demo_lp_demolicious_for_record_store_day Pretty much the same as the Rock Sound Article above.
Oxymore Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 When you look at it that way then wow, it does seem like a goodbye piece. or at least a very long break haha. I don't think/hope so but for a millisecond you made my moral
localinsomniac Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 http://www.altpress.com/news/entry/green_day_to_release_demo_lp_demolicious_for_record_store_day Pretty much the same as the Rock Sound Article above. From the article:In addition to the 18 demos, Demolicious includes a previously unreleased track, State Of Shock and an acoustic version of Stay The Night. Hmm? That would imply 20 tracks, wouldn't it? Maybe it's just a typo.
Alternative_Pnk Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Maaannnnn I can't wait for it to come!! :D I'm sure they're gonna rock as soon as I blast them out! Hehe

Clockwise Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Love it. Only sad part is that the artwork makes it feel like the trilogy is totally dead now. Which it is, but still sad.
WorryRock02 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Here is a live version of State Of Shock from one of the 2011 secret show:
Tubbie Head Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I like that it's a word play both ways: demo - because it's an album which contains demos, and then the cover art is going for demo - demolition! I don't think it has anything to do with goodbyes.

Insomniac1984 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I liked the cover, it has a "dark sense"....
JOE THE X-KID Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Stay the night acoustic. Fangirling and I'm not even a girl.
AngelBlue_ Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 This is a pic posted 5 weeks ago by the artist of the cover
Oxymore Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 This is a pic posted 5 weeks ago by the artist of the cover DAMN 0.o Edit: and after seeing it closer, this guys is good, my gawd !!
Karol Oliveira Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Looking at the cover, I have the impression that the band is admitting that the trilogy was a disaster. The destruction, the chaos, the darkness... and now they're trying to recover some good things that's left; the demos. This is my first impression, of course. And I like the trilogy! (: Very nice artwork!
