But IDK maybe they were messing with those demos in the studio, experimenting with them and choosing which ones they liked better? There was a huge list of songs.

Maybe the Trilogy was just an experiment to see if the fans like the sound. Then they picked their favorite songs and re-mixed them and now they release them as "Demos" with better sound, so fans will like it
