I think Jinx/Haushinka officially are my favorite transition songs. Both are solid songs, and the transition is just so punchy. Flawless, really. They're two gems on Nimrod amongst the experimental chaos.

I even like them more than Give Me Novacaine/She's a Rebel or Holiday/BOBD now, which are both off my favorite album.

ALBUM OPINIONS

Warning and Insomniac are easily the best. No question.

21CB, Dos and Tre are their three worst albums by far, although there are a few good songs on each.

The rest are all very good, although not perfect.

I have no idea as to the popularity of these opinions, but it's how I feel.

They're unpopular with me . As for me Warning and Insomniac are 3rd and 4th worst (after 39/Smooth and Kerplunk), and 21st CB and Uno Dos and Tre as a whole are among the best.

Insomniac 21CB, the Trilogy and occasionally parts of Nimrod are the only Green Day albums I listen to anymore.

Nah, I disagree - you're right in that Dos is their worst, but definitely not 21CB, that's near the top of the list for me. Dookie and AI are at the top, with Nimrod, Insomniac, 21CB almost all of them fighting for the spot below, with the Trilogy below them (Uno, Tre, Dos, in descending order).

I think the first half of Dookie is better, but that's just comparing completely excellent with almost completely excellent, I still love everything on it.

All the way through, actually paying attention? A long time. Lately, I've been brushing up on the albums I never got super familiar with (39/Smooth, Kerplunk, Insomniac, Nimrod).

I try to make it through their entire discography over weekends (barring this last one, listening to new music took precedence), not necessarily while doing nothing else but having it on and loud enough for me not to tune out.

Why does everyone like 21CB so much? The concept aspects of it are incredibly forced, it's about 5 songs too long, and it's overproduced, just in a different way than the trilogy was.
