Guest Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Symptomatic of the American culture that steals from everyone else and creates nothing. Billie has a sucky taste in music, we already knew that. "99 revs is the best song I've ever written." That just means he has shit taste in his own music. No sane person could call The Clash "sucky". Quote
DookieLukie Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Symptomatic of the American culture that steals from everyone else and creates nothing. #retcon Well, duh. Historically and demographically it makes sense that America is a combination of a lot of other cultures' ideas. Plus, every idea is inspired by something else along the way. It's not retcon. Billie has a bad taste in music but manages to write good music. I doubt he thinks his good songs are that good. Quote
DookieLukie Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Why do I bother tbh. Don't bother, please. Quote

Anaïs. Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 When did he say that? Talking to Billboard about how it was the song that saved them. "After you write a song like that, it was like, 'I can't turn back now.' You can't all of a sudden say, 'I want to write a normal record.'" Quote
