Certified Nimrod Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 I can't figure out how to do a line out of this mixing board into my recorder without the sound being panned all the way to the left. I was using the headphone jack as a way to move the sound along. I know that isn't proper, but unless someone can find me a digital cable to 1/4" adapter, that's what I'm stuck doing. Here's the mixing board.
bollard_11 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Want more money towards pedalboard building..... clean tone needs more boost. Yes I am aware my amp is shit, but still
Penguin Puffball Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I'm determined to become a musician just to prove to my mom what a bitch she is. She actually said to me once "Become a dog groomer and do music on the side, you're not good enough to make it as a musician." Well fuck you too.

She actually said to me once "Become a dog groomer and do music on the side, you're not good enough to make it as a musician." Well fuck you too. That's a good attitude to have, and you're already very good. You already are a musician! But yeah a similar thing happened to me when my GCSE music teacher told me to drop the subject because there's no way I'd pass. I got an A, one of the highest marks in my year and went on to do it at college and uni and do really well.

JackInABox86 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 My music teacher told me not to pursue music in college and do physics instead because apparently having more money means everything, I studied forensic science at college and I'm now doing a foundation course in music production and business and could not be happier, so to my music teacher, here's a big fuck you !

Libertine Angel Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 It's a great feeling when you decide to learn to play something and then what you play actually sounds like the thing you want it to sound like.
Penguin Puffball Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I used to refuse to sing around anyone because I was so ashamed of my voice and thought I was a bad singer but now people are appreciating my voice and listening to my covers and it makes me feel great. Even though I still feel like I suck.

Spike Posted January 14, 2015 Author Posted January 14, 2015 So I'm in the process of recording an album. I just the love the feeling of getting to see songs come to life. I hope we'll get to hear it when it's done! What kind of style is it? I've finally got back into recording the last few days, for the first time in ages. It's a great mood boost.

Most of it is more of just a fast paced rock sound, while some stuff will sound more punk. One of the songs kind of has a metal vibe to it as well.
bollard_11 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Cousin has asked me do I wanna put something together after I finish my exams. Only problem is we are interested in completely different styles. But I just wanna get playing again so I am willing to tough it out!
