It's just so general and makes me think of something you just like (very much), whether that's a popstar, a meal, your favorite place or whatever. It's just used for all kinds of things but to me, when I think of what Green Day mean to me, I don't feel like a "fan". It's just way more than that but I don't think there's a word that would do it justice.

Billie Joe may have felt awkward with his words on that post, but that line said more than a million words could have. I feel so fortunate to be part of the Green Day community/family. But I like this one better because it comes from a much happier place That post is exactly what this new one reminded me of. I don't think I'll ever forget reading the first line of his post-rehab post and just completely sobbing. At the time, being able to read that he was ok and knew how much we supported him meant everything. I must agree, I like this one better. Indeed, it comes from a happier place. I feel like he's able to write in ways he can't express verbally (as a fellow writer, I'm the same way), so I love reading just about any piece of his writing. But to read something so open and heartfelt is incredible. He is such a genuinely sweet human being.
