Todd Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I'm listening to BIAB for the first time in years and the energy is fucking incredible. Fuck, this is amazing and I need to listen to it more. I'm listening to the Demolicious version of Sex, Drugs & Violence for the first time in months and the energy is fucking incredible. Fuck, this is amazing and I need to listen to it more. 4 Quote

Fuck, this is amazing and I need to listen to it more. I've said it before and I'll say it again - the Demolicious versions of all the songs on it are better than the actual versions for that exact reason. Quote

Libertine Angel Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Yes. The DVD is even better! It's been so long since I watched it - well, I know what I'm doing next free period. 1 Quote
Iva Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 It's been so long since I watched it - well, I know what I'm doing next free period. Make sure there are no conceited people around...there are two err...debatable moments. My mom expected those and the next-door neighbour apparently enjoyed two sightings of Billie's backside; but not everyone will. XD 1 Quote

Popular Post StuckWithDom Posted October 9, 2014 Popular Post Posted October 9, 2014 Sex drugs and violence, 99 revolutions, angel blue, missing you and baby eyes are far better on Demolicious in my honest opinion 6 Quote
Libertine Angel Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Apart from Nuclear Family, Rusty James and Stay The Night. OK, you're right about Stay the Night (unless you mean the acoustic version at the end, which is fantastic), and the vocals on Rusty James and Nuclear Family are better sounding on Uno, but not overall. And Oh Love. Afraid I have to disagree with you there - I like the slightly less clean sound. And Makeout Party Again, I have to disagree with that - I prefer the distortion on Demolicious. Quote

I've listened to the acoustic Stay The Night twice. I just can't get through it, I hate it. As for the other two songs, I just think the Trilogy production actually suits them. 2 Quote
Libertine Angel Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 I've listened to the acoustic Stay The Night twice. I just can't get through it, I hate it. Why? I think it sounds great. Quote
Spike Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Why? I think it sounds great. Frankly I just find it incredibly boring. 2 Quote
JOE THE X-KID Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 I enjoy it but I must say I was disappointed when I heard it. Quote
Libertine Angel Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Frankly I just find it incredibly boring. I can see why, but I disagree. I suppose a good part of why I like it is because it reminds me of when they used to play songs down the phone back in the (somewhat) old days. Quote

Libertine Angel Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 I never had their number They used to put them on greenday.net - it was the GDA of its day. Hasn't been updated for a year though. Quote
The Disappearing Boy Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 The Demolicious version of Rusty James is better in my opinion coz of the bass. Speaking of which, Baby Eyes. 2 Quote
Certified Nimrod Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 The Demolicious version of Rusty James is better in my opinion coz of the bass. Speaking of which, Baby Eyes. What's different about it? I've never noticed. Quote
Todd Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 What's different about it? I've never noticed. Well, for starters, it's an entirely different recording than the one on Uno.... 3 Quote
Spike Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 What's different about it? I've never noticed. Mike throws a load of extra fills in and it sounds awesome. 4 Quote
JOE THE X-KID Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 The drumming is so much more interesting on the Rusty James demo too. I like how Tré goes onto the ride cymbal on the chorus like he does in the old songs. 1 Quote

Its just so much more Green Day. It sounds...beautiful haha? 6 Quote
