Why Do You Want Him is absolutely perfect to me. It's just so damn catchy. I love the melody, I love Billie's vocals, I love absolutely everything about it. I'm amazed that it was the first song that he ever wrote. The first song I ever wrote was so bad that I'm still trying to erase it from my memory and I haven't written anything since.

On the subject of the first song I ever wrote, the lyrics and melody were so similar to BOBD (but obviously nowhere near as good), even though I wrote it way before I was a GD fan and I'd never heard BOBD in my life (or if I had, I didn't remember it). It was as if I'd subconsciously ripped off GD. Sometimes my thoughts/ideas are so similar to Billie's that it's scary.

I wrote a song when I was twelve that I registered somewhere, and another one a few years ago and which I still remember; don't think it was bad, but it was awfully depressing  and I didn't try to write something down since either.

From the beginning of getting into GD, what Billie expresses in his songs are things I feel that I've known forever but without ever being able to put words on them or even take a real look at them. It was like keeping a big part of me locked from myself. Thanks to him, I've been starting to unlock it and it's the most liberating feeling ever  and I'm not scared as I relate to him in loads of stuff, on the contrary it's a real delight and comfort, and I think it's also logical at this point of loving him, that this very strong connection (that we all have with him in our own way) must contribute to it somehow. But I can be really scared by the amount of love I have for him, it's beyond any degree of rational, it often drives me crazy in a way I never knew before falling into the GD fandom
