Popular Post End Of The World Posted November 15, 2017 Popular Post Posted November 15, 2017 Yeah, it's been such a wonderful era. For the first time in my life I can say that I lived it all, from the release of Bang Bang to the one of God's Favorite Band, which actually seems to close the RevRad period (it lasted approximately 1.25 years). Exactly 10 months ago I saw Green Day live for the first time and still today I can't find a day of my life which can be considered as important as that one. Although I was all alone, lost amongst 14000 souls, I felt part of something. I had never been so emotional and that meant a lot for me. An era full of waiting, but it was worth it. An era full of statistics, because I had become obsessed with Green Day commercial performance (it was fun). An era (almost, but it was my fault) full of GDC. And guys, you all deserve a big "thank you" because, in any case, you contributed to change my life a little bit. But a time machine would just be useless. "The child has grown, the dream is gone". And I'm just waiting for a new dream to start. 9 Quote
RedundantIdiot Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 I've thoroughly enjoyed the Rev Rad era, too. I'm really happy that I've seen it from the 'start' with the pictures/videos in the recording studio right through to now. Within days of Billies 1st recording studio picture I left my old, unhappy job for a new job that I'm incredibly happy with. Therefore, Rev Rad has been the soundtrack to a new era of my life. I've loved using this forum (especially the fangirls threads ), I've loved all the Facebook lives, Instagram pictures, Instagram lives, concert footage, pictures and news stories. I also feel honoured to have seen one of the best live bands on the planet- I just wish I could use a time machine to take me back to my 1st GD gig. I'm sad that this era has to end- but all good things have to come to an end, and hopefully the next era will be just as exciting! 4 Quote
