Major girlfriend points there! I don't like when bands play full albums because it takes away from the surprise element of the show but I love the album so hearing it live wouldn't suck. Quote

I agree. I hope they at least play more of the songs, they haven't played that many so far. I'd be really surprised if they decided to play the whole thing now. 1 Quote

MaraGreenDay Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 I wasn't feeling this song (Somewhere Now), I actually kinda wanted to skip the song when I put the album, but after I watched that live video, oh man, I'm enjoying it so much! Quote

21guns&novacaine Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Guess who finally received their copy of RevRad and is now late to the fandom party. I really enjoyed the album, more than I thought I would, and I already had high expectations. Quote

Second favourite son Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Just saw a revrad style poster, for Green Day headlining the BST festival, at a bus stop a 5 minute walk from my flat. Made me very excited to see something so close to home! Quote

What a cool performance! I can't believe I'm surprised by how strong Billie's voice sounds. I'm a bit irritated by all the phones in the first rows tbh. Just take a picture and be done with it. Sorry I sound old, but as sweet as it is in theory, if I saw people in front of me filming the entire thing or facetiming with their friends and holding up their phones all the time, I would be really annoyed and bitter about it. I think Billie is too. On another note, I wonder if those security guards ever feel extremely awkward when Billie gives his heartfelt speeches during shows or when fans in the first row scream in their faces. 1 Quote

It is so awesome! What irritates me about it is the fact that there most likely is unreleased video material from that time. The footage at the beginning of Broadway Idiot is from the same show a part of BBBPP was recorded at. How cool would it be to see the whole thing 3 Quote

Marki. Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 I popped into a record store while waiting for my bus to see if they have RevRad - at first I was a bit disappointed they didn't have a single copy on display in the shop windows, but they redeemed themselves right when I walked in by playing 8th Avenue Serenade! Definitely unexpected. I soon realized that they're actually playing the whole of ¡Tré! and stayed wandering around the shop way longer than I should have I also found lots of copies of RevRad after a while and saw that they have a beautiful picture of the boys on their little "new releases of the month" leaflet, so all good Made my day better. 1 Quote

I think these are actually better than BIAB and AAF because they sound rawer. The latest live albums are much more polished in comparison. Quote
Wretched & Divine Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 It gives me the warm and fuzzies that there are fans who are so new that they're still learning all the lyrics to Jesus of Suburbia. I still remember being like and thinking I could never learn such a long song by heart the first time I actually read the lyrics and realised it was actually one song. Quote

Last week I listened to an interview with a frontman of one local band and the guy and the presenter started talking about a Green Day show the musician had been to because they played Bang Bang during the interview. To my surprise, he was impressed by KFAD. 20 minutes of kfad and the covers were the absolute highlight of the show according to him. The man couldn't shut up about how well it worked with the crowd and how well thought out the part of the show was. It actually made me excited to see it live. 1 Quote

lizziebix Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 I wonder how different I might be if Green Day was around when I was in high school instead of the year I got married? Quote
Hell Cat Troll Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 So I just saw Fight Club for the first time today and it was amazing but it totally reminded me of American Idiot. Billie Joe did you rip off Fight Club? Haha 2 Quote
