Do we have any predictions for who will be opening for green day either during the club shows or the arena shows? Tour starts in 9 days and we don't know anyone else that will be playing besides them.

I have a theory that they did the local band promotion hashtag to find the best bands in each city to open for them (at least for the US shows). That would be pretty cool to see.

Dog Party and The Interruptors are the two  opening bands for US club shows.

Hello, I don't know if what I'm going to ask is good to be here but I do not know where to put it so...and maybe you will think I'm crazy but... When I'll go to Paris show I would like to give a personnal message to Billie Joe but I don't know how, it's very important for me

Hey!  We have a thread specifically for the Paris show here if you want to talk to other people who know more about that particular show.  There's also a thread for the Europe tour here.  But I don't think your post is out of place in this thread, don't worry!  What sort of message do you want to give (if you don't mind me asking)?   I know quite a few people bring signs and hold them up, and it seems like Billie often reads them.  Would that be suitable for your message?

Well it's going to be too long to hold on a sign ^^ maybe I will have a chance to see them at their hotel

BJ has to re-use as many words as he can - gives him a higher chance of remembering the lyrics live.:ga:

Don't worry - when you see them next year -  you will help him out.

I like their music. It's not exactly early GD style punk, but they have some very catchy songs.

Pretty sure The Interrupters are only for the UK.

They sound a lot like Operation Ivy, and that's a good thing in my book.

No, they are playing (almost) every GD show in Europe.

He'd better pick me (or he's doomed to being the one who fucks up!) :ga:

I like them. Definitely a better choice than a boring pop-punk band.

I meant Europe, sorry. I just wanted to clarify they weren't opening the US club shows.

No problem. The US shows are indeed opened by Dog Party :)

I didn't really know about the band at the time, but I walked by their stage at Warped Tour, and they covered an OpIvy song when I passed by. I think they covered Sound System

Sound System's my favourite OpIvy song, I should listen to them again.
