HolyHandGrenade Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I don't want GD on Vevo simply because they censor videos like no other
green day is Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Please explain what you are talking about. Primarily a social tendency toward divisory connection, probably in the form of intranet. To a lesser extent the threat of a decreasing entropy in the face of growing population and increasing consumption. Dude you're making this painfully easy for him Those are some mighty implications you've got there.

Thanks!
WhiteTim Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I don't want GD on Vevo simply because they censor videos like no other Wrong... Vevo also hosts unedited videos as well
HolyHandGrenade Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Wrong... Vevo also hosts unedited videos as well Hmm... I've been living a lie.
WhiteTim Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Hmm... I've been living a lie. My friend Trae Vevo channel has unedited videos and his cartoon series is also unedited Damn no idea why link wont show up
StuckWithInsomnia Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 http://www.youtube.com/user/EminemVEVO/videos VEVO uploaded Eminem's 4 new videos all uncensored.
Ritz Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 The fact that the possibility of them splitting up is even being discussed in relation to this is hilarious. Chill the fuck out, GDC. Welcome to GDC, man.
Mr Panda Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 aww no,its back up. There won't be any further shit storm here just saw - Boulevard of Broken dreams by some unofficial account has over 2crore views on youtube.
Certified Nimrod Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 EDIT: Their channel is back now. Without a dp and none of the trilogy art surrounding the videos. I don't frequent their YouTube, so what is the dp and art surrounding the videos?
Mar Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I knew this thread would deliver, and boy was I right! It's more entertaining than ... well, watching GD videos.
AlissaGoesRAWR Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I knew this thread would deliver, and boy was I right! It's more entertaining than ... well, watching GD videos. I just read through all 6 pages just for the lulz. Didn't disappoint.
ThranaM Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 First of all, I'm not a dude, and second of all, what the heck is up with your attitude? Did I say something bad about your mother? They kept asking me to choose a real name and almost sealed away my account that didn't have my real name. Whether I explained it satisfactorily or no to you, there's not need for attitude. Not even called for, dude. And now I remember why I rarely post on this site. Ohh sorry, didn't mean it that way! Just I can't believe that YouTube does that. I have multiple accounts on youtube and nothing like that has never happend to me. And again, sorry if I was rude.
Fuzz Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 This thread is still open? Damn... It'll go away when people stop posting in it.
Karl Karlson Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 It'll go away when people stop posting in it. Actually not really, people will still bitch about the incident or are just arguing about nothing
Fuzz Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Actually not really, people will still bitch about the incident or are just arguing about nothing You're the problem now.
Mykee Mexx Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 They kept asking me to choose a real name and almost sealed away my account that didn't have my real name. This happend to me. I had a fiction name on youtube and one day they wouldn´t let me in without my real name. So I changed it, but it´s annoying.
stories and songs Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I blame Jim Moriarty. After browsing this thread, I find this to be the only reasonable explanation.
GDM Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Ohh sorry, didn't mean it that way! Just I can't believe that YouTube does that. I have multiple accounts on youtube and nothing like that has never happend to me. And again, sorry if I was rude. No problem, but just because something hasn't happened to you doesn't mean it hasn't happened to someone else. In this case, it's the integration of Youtube and Google+. Here's a couple of articles on what happened, which mention both commenters and creators. It was like wrangling cats trying to access back to my Youtube account. Whether this is what happened with Green Day, I don't know, I was letting people know what happened to me. At first it was comments but then Youtube kept asking people to use their real names on their accounts. After a couple of times saying no, I wanted to continue under "Elderta" which is where I have all of my videos (I could have switched it to my real name but I didn't want to), I couldn't get into my account until I went through some rigmarole or something. Can't remember exactly how I did it, but now every time I sign into Youtube, they ask me if I want to sign in under my real name or Elderta. Again, I have no idea what happened to GD's Youtube account, but I know that if people weren't paying attention, their Youtube accounts could get away from them the last couple of months. http://www.cnn.com/2013/11/08/tech/social-media/youtube-comment-backlash/ http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2013/11/09/google-plus-creates-uproar-over-forced-youtube-integration/ This happend to me. I had a fiction name on youtube and one day they wouldn´t let me in without my real name. So I changed it, but it´s annoying. Whew...I'm glad I'm not crazy and I wasn't the only one! Actually, glad I'm not crazier than usual.

Actually, glad I'm not crazier than usual. Ohh ok I see, this has something to do with Google+. I thought you ment the feature were you could select username or full name they made a few years ago. I hate that Google is forcing you to connect YT and G+ together. I refused to do it for a couple of months, but then I decided to just connect them. I got the opportunity to use my real name on youtube, and connecting the channel to an existing G+ account, or keep my username and make a new G+ account in the same process. Currently I have a new G+ account with my full name, and the youtube channel still uses the origiinal username

GDM Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 But to be fair artists actually have different account settings then regular users... That's why I said I have no idea what happened to GD's account and that I was relating what happened to me on Youtube.
