Cruise Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 its weird how all of you guys are saying how you already miss them and stuff. Like they are already gone. Here i am ignoring all this cause i am seeing them next month! I know its a good feeling. Pretty much every other time it is the other way around, with us being the ones to have no dates and going large periods of time without seeing them. But now we are the only ones with tour dates.
Karl Karlson Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 I have last of the american girls demo Are you sure it's a demo and not just the "Radio Mix" which is on the Promo CD?
alienlifeform Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Are you sure it's a demo and not just the "Radio Mix" which is on the Promo CD? well, as far as i know it's a demo. I'll upload it later and you tell me
Karl Karlson Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 well, as far as i know it's a demo. I'll upload it later and you tell me Is it that? If not, I'm happy to listen to the "demo"
alienlifeform Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 If not, I'm happy to listen to the "demo"yeah is this one :/ it is prety odd, ithought ut was a demo
Karl Karlson Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 yeah is this one :/ it is prety odd, ithought ut was a demo Yeah, it's a common mistake. "21 Guns" recorded at the 880 Studios was also thought of as a demo, but it's just a live-studio recording.
Kayfabe Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 lol, five years between AI and 21CB, and then three more years for 21CB to trilogy? Anything they throw at us now is a cakewalk.
Sarcasm Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 lol, five years between AI and 21CB, and then three more years for 21CB to trilogy? Anything they throw at us now is a cakewalk.the difference this time around is that they announced that it'll be a shit ton of time until something happens.
Kayfabe Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 the difference this time around is that they announced that it'll be a shit ton of time until something happens. yoooooo what ah holy shit, either they're back in 2 years or they're back in 10
MrsBillieJoe95 Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 I have a feeling they're not going to be able to really relax until after this year though since the 10th anniversary for American Idiot is this year. They absolutely deserve every second of their break, though- regardless of how long it is. Hopefully they don't take too long! We have needs y'know! Joking aside, everyone who's been with Green Day touring needs to just sit back and relax for a while. They have earned every second of a break and absolutely need to recharge their batteries. When they're ready to come back, we'll definitely learn not too long after Billie knows
Carriee!x Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I was sad at first but it's to be expected.. They definitely deserve a break and as Billie says to recharge their batteries. It will give them time to think what they want to produce next and I'm sure it will be amazing It's not like they are done, and they will be doing other things which will be interesting, I respect them so much for their choices.
desertrose Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Jason quoted in an article about his side project band California "I'd kind of been starting to do stuff under my own name in 2011, just to try writing my own songs again," says White, noting that Green Day is on an "indefinite break" — though he did just get off the phone with Armstrong, who called to tell him about how crazy it was to play with the Replacements at Coachella the previous night. (White, with a laugh: "I hadn't wanted to go at all but now I'm super jealous, and bummed that I wasn't there.") http://www.sfbg.com/2014/04/22/california-scratch?page=0,0
Heather. Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 "Indefinite" is a controversial word but I'm not gonna read too much into it. They just haven't decided when or what they're gonna do next. Green Day still exists.
Gwen Stacy Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Green Day is on an "indefinite break" Green Day is breaking up, it's confirmed you guys.
Sanity Loan Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 "Indefinite break" does not mean breaking up. "Indefinite break" means exactly what it means. Indefinite: lasting for an unknown or unstated length of time.

Neon Light Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Blink's hiatus was indefinite in that time I never thought I'd see those 3 on stage together I hope we don't doubt Green Day that much Blink-182 broke up because of shit going down between Tom and the other two. Green Day love each other as much as ever and are nowhere near breaking up.
Guest Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 ffs guys, "indefinite" just means that they haven't decided on the end date of said hiatus yet. Billie Joe could call everyone tomorrow and be like, "Hey guys, let's go write an album next week," and the indefinite hiatus has reached a definite conclusion. He could also wait ten years to call everyone and be like, "Hey guys, let's go do a 30th anniversary tour for Dookie and make a shitload of cash," and the hiatus ends there as well. The Foo Fighters are either recording an album, touring, or on "hiatus" at all times. Everyone shits a brick when one of the band members drops the h-word, and within six months they're back in the studio and all is right with the world. Don't panic about a band breaking up until someone comes out and says that they're broken up. It's better for your blood pressure that way.
Hermione Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Lol "indefinite break" means nothing. Also he literally might not have even said that, could be paraphrasing him just saying he doesn't know how long the break will be. Why wasn't there this shit after 21st CB? I seem to remember people understood and could handle the fact that there's always a break between albums/tours without calling it a "hiatus" and freaking out last time.
Mykee Mexx Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 And also... it´s not our business what they do with their lifes. They might do something new as Green Day - or not. Maybe doing something totally new together or in different bands. Who knows? Breaks are always good for new ideas, so nobody knows where it will lead anyone of the band to. Relax and stay curious.
WhiteTim Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I heard from a guy who heard it from his cousins hair dresser who heard it from a janitor who heard it thru his baby mamas other baby mamas daddy who heard it from Billie Joe's dog who heard it thru Billie Joe's cat that Green Day has in fact broken up and Billie has formed a group with Lady Cobra
