I Just got the album and haven't been able to listen to the whole thing yet, but I've loved everything I've heard so far. No surprise though... I love Billie, I love Norah, and I love this kind of music. I'm still amazed and in awe at how beautifully their voices blend together!

It makes me want to move into an old farm house with a wrap around porch, throw on a pair of overalls, and sit in an old rocking chair with a rifle in my hands, a piece of straw in my mouth, and a hound dog by my feet :-D

Lately I've been falling asleep while listening to this on tje stero at low volume to where the voices sound like whispers perfect

I didn't expected so many people would love it !!! It's my case of course, I enjoyed it at the first lisening (and Barbara Allen .... ) but I thought people would say it's just a bunch of shit because it's not BJ's music style. The fact that people love this record makes me love it even more

I f*ing LOVE this collab.

Can't stop listening to Down in the Willow Garden! The rest is good although mostly not to my personal taste so I don't have much desire to listen to it, but that song is just so darkly beautiful.

I buy the album like two days ago but i finally listen to it for the first time and all i have to say it's that im in love with it.

Billie's voice sounds right, so perfect and beautiful! I don't know what more can i say about how perfect this album is cause most of you already did, all i can say is that i'm so happy that Billie decided to made this.

My favorite songs are "Who's Gonna Shoe Your Pretty Little Feet?", "Down In The Willow Garden", "Barbara Allen" and "Oh So Many Years".

If Billie keep doing this kind of things it will be more than fine for me :whistle

This made me laugh - he was interviewed in Australia last night. His twitter account is hilarious. Someone complained how they hated his voice - he tweeted back that he hated his voice as well but it has made him RICH.

Is it possible to get a cd case version instead of a sleeve?

I'm listening to the whole thing for the first time right now, and I'm really loving it so far. I'm not usually a fan of country/folk music, but their voices blend so well together and it has a nice relaxing feel to it.

And the harmonica solo in Roving Gambler is awesome.

The number of songs I'm enjoying listening to is increasing. Oh So Many Years, Long Time Gone and Roving Gambler have joined Down In The Willow Garden (still the best though ). This is a surprising turn of events.

I looove Oh So Many Years, it's probably my favourite. Along with Long Time Gone and Silver Haired Daddy of Mine.

Like so many, not my genre. But every now and again I can listen to the Everly Brothers. Not too bad. This cover songs are a good reminiscence of the Everlys. I like some of the harmonies, even though listening to the full CD bores me in the end. It´s all a bit the same to me... *holding white flag in the air*. Sweet clean Country. If this was German folksong I would probably throw up... But this is BJ singing... ;) It´s a bit yaaawn... a bit nice... a bit boring... a bit too slow... yawn again... Now, what I really like is that BJ has and takes the freedom to do whatever he likes. He doesn´t know any musical border, and he doesn´t stick to one style or genre. He roams the musical world and takes whatever he likes, and doesn´t care about what fans might expect. In fact, he´s coming up with surprises all the time, and to me it´s authentic. He´s got a free (musical) mind. He´s got no style - he´s got every style. I love that!

So, I think I´m gonna correct my statement. Finally took the time and listened closeley. And have to say, the songs take me away... Those beautiful harmonies, those lyrics and harmonies caused goosebumps. Very touching. Very sad. Heartmelting. Think I begin to love it. When I listen to the voice of Norah and Billie Joe separateley I wouldn´t think of the Everly Brothers. But singing harmony it´s totally them. And I wonder whether BJ knew that right from the start when he chose Norah Jones. He must have, I guess. Touches me.

not exactly my genre, but it's cute! when i heard that Billie was going to sing country i had my doubts. But than listening to those songs filled me with enthusiasm.

when you're refelcting which enthusiasm and seriousness both of them put into this project i think it's worth to listen to it closely :)

it's an album you can listen to and start to relax. it's a good alternative to those strange songs played at the radio in these days! :) or just an invitation to relax!

well growing up with rock and roll it was obviously a foreign thing to me. Theres a few songs that drag out and get kinda boring but overall its really interesting to hear the vocal ranges billie has. I enjoy the record. Oh So Many Years is the best.

I have to admit I don't normally listen to this style of music, but I do like this record. I love Billie and Norah's voices, they sound wonderful. Even though occasionally I do find myself daydreaming because some of the songs are a bit too slow for my liking, when you listen to the lyrics they are interesting. I was like, woah this song is about someone murdering a girl! So overall I'd definatley say this is an interesting album!

Couldn´t help it... just bought the album today. Foreverly is growing on me day by day. I love the harmonies, it´s great music.

It´s getting more and more interesting. Now I´m tracing some of the old songs on youtube, and found out that some ballads are much longer, more dramatic and lead back to old Scottish and/or Irish tradionals (even better with violins).

I'm actually obsessed with "Barbara Allen".. may be my favourite track on "Foreverly".

Barbara Allen is my favourite, too.

I'd never listened to the Everly Brothers before, didn't know what their music sounded like besides "harmony singing", but a few days ago I figured I might as well give this album a listen, and I was pleasantly surprised! It's, well, really pleasant music to listen to. And even though Norah's and Billie's voices are very different, they do sound nice together. You really get the effect of two distinct voices and people, narrators, coming together.

I am in love with this album and their voices .. can t stop listening since it came out <3
