alienlifeform Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 my least favorite of the trilogy, though i'm still listening to it
Fuzz Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Still remains my favorite of the trilogy. Each album has songs that stand out, but Dos more than others for me. Fuck Time is still an awesome fun song, though may have lost a bit of it's charm from early on. But songs like Lazy Bones, Stray Heart, Lady Cobra and Amy all remain favorites from the entire trilogy, and a couple of them in my favorite Green Day songs ever.
localinsomniac Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I get the hate for Dos. It's not my favorite album by a longshot, but I'll still listen to the trilogy top to bottom at least every other week. So, yay for me, probably.
etty_gd Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I like most of the songs on Dos, but then separately between any other Green Day song. For some reason I don't like to listen to the album from top to bottom, then it's just sort of to much of the same kind of music.
ready1 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 DOS gave me he gift of Lazy Bones and for that I am eternally grateful. Lazy Bones brings out some fire or anger inside of me and I LIKE IT.
Antonium2200 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I wouldn't say lazy bones is the only good song on dos. Stray Heart is really good. I like SWTRLF alot too. I love Stray Heart. Lazy Bones, not so much.
Jax Teller Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Dos what a great piece of art. Truly a masterpiece. Green Day has never made a better album, and probably will never make another one as good as this one. Love it, especially "Baby Eyes," "See You Tonight," and "Makeout Party." Inspired stuff
Sarcasm Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Lazy Bones carries the whole album. kthxbai
Idiotic Tendency... Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Dos is the worst excuse for an album ever. 4 songs are actually sort of ok but the others are just drab and sound like a jam session. The songs as individuals feel like they don't even live together. Utter letdown.
DannyDirnt Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 HAPPY BIRTHDAY AWESOME FAVORITE ALBUM FROM THE TRILOGY!
bollard_11 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 One of the worst albums I have ever heard. Sits alongside Lulu in my "don't listen to these" section. The only songs I'd save from DOS are Stop When The Red Lights Flash, Stray Heart and Lazy Bones. The rest should have remained unreleased.... That being said though, I did like the Garage rock, Foxboro style sound of the album. Just a shame that 10 out of 13 songs sucked.

Tubbie Head Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Very nice, you actually managed not to insult Dos in your OP! Kinda scary how one year has passed. Gotta celebrate!!! Dos has some of my favourite songs from the trilogy. Stray Heart, Lazy Bones, Wild One, Lady Cobra, Baby Eyes, Amy (my absolute favourite)... But basically love it all! And will listen to it now.
bollard_11 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Fixed that Sorry I meant to call it "Green Days cover of Jets - Are you gonna be my girl" or "Green Days cover of The Jams - A town called Malice"
Mykee Mexx Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 DOS...?! Yes, sure...! Wait a minute... ummmm.... hmmmm... uuuuuh... sorry.... what was that again...?
Snows Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Dos is my favourite from the trilogy. I don't think is that bad, you guys! But I can understand the criticism. Anyway I like it a lot, happy first birthday!
WestboundSign! Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Wow.. time does really fly by, doesn't it? Really tough for me to believe it's already been a year!
Guest Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Dos is basically a Foxboro Hottubs album. It's really not though.
Guest Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 But it kinda is. There are two garage rock songs on Dos, maybe 3 at a stretch. Everything on SDR is garage rock. They're barely comparable.
Tubbie Head Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Dos is basically a Foxboro Hottubs album. I love both of them (although I like SDR more) and I really don't think Dos is like the 2nd FBHT album, except a few songs. It's just the most similar one out of all the GD albums obviously.
MaraGreenDay Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Wait, i thought ¡Dos! was released on November 13th?
Todd Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Dos is basically a Foxboro Hottubs album. Foxboro Hot Tubs released Dos under the name "Green Day" as a side project, they felt it wasn't true FBHT material Anyways, I gave and made a FBHT/Dos playlist. All the FBHT songs have 35 plays, all the Dos songs have 10 plays lol.
